The most dishonest doctors that work at Medical City Dallas. They also misdiagnosed my sister with endometriosis but she was not stupid enough like me to get a hysterectomy for a false diagnosis.

I have been reading my medical records showing all the information Dr Pompey and Parnell entered as the reason why they did a hysterectomy. I made a really bad decision for allowing this surgery. The consent form they used is completely wrong. I am going insane without my period. My life changed because I was admitted to get a hysterectomy without having a real diagnosis. I never knew how bad it will be not have a period. I have developed a very bad autoimmune disorder because of the hysterectomy. I was never told this could happen during the consent form. All the years I was a patient with Parnell and Diaz none of them ever suggested to check all my vitamins and blood count. At 36 years old this surgery put my world upside down Dr. Winfred Parnell never told why he removed my cervix. I never had cancer for this to happen at such a young age. I am afraid of not being able to work because of my weakness. Dr. Pompey didn't advocated for me as a female doctor should.

She is a fantastic obgyn. Whenever I reach out her or the medical assistant responds in a timely manner.

I had been dealing with extraordinary amounts of pain since June/July 2022. Two other physicians (both nearby and within my requests) admitted “something is there”. The last doc prior to Dr Pompey went as far as multiple exams (which at this point are excruciating) and the look on her face terrified me. I scheduled my follow up sonogram and the reading with the doc. My appointments then began being rescheduled.I started seeing Dr Shanica Pompey in March— her office tried multiple times to get any records to avoid duplicating services — unfortunately without cooperation from the other doctors offices. She immediately asked if I would be able to stay for in house sonogram and I of course agreed.After that initial visit she encouraged me and my family to consider all options presented and we decided to go for surgical treatment. I recommend Dr Pompey. She and the staff have an energy of healing. Go visit them!
