Dr. Spak-Schreiner was very dismissive to my issues. Every time I went to see her, it felt like a waste of time and money. She would either refer me to someone else for very common issues (costing more time and money) or would blame my problems on "stress." She refused to refill my medication until I came into the office to see her, even though the medicine was working fine. She also refused to do a virtual visit, even though this was something that could have been addressed in two minutes over the phone. She was not respectful of my time or schedule.

Dr. Spak-Schreiner was very professional but kind. She doesn't "over-treat" if you have problems and was willing to talk thru any issues I had without making me feel rushed. If you prefer a doctor who starts with the "least invasive" therapies, she does a great job.

I love her!! She is soft spoken and has an explanation for many things. The most thorough physical exams too. I’ve referred her many time to my friends and they have been happy.

Not a good doctor. Not always responsive when you try to follow up or leave a message. Seems nice at first if you're just going in for an annual physical. As soon as you have any health problem at all, she dismisses it and doesn't make any effort to figure out what's wrong even after the problem persists for a while and gets worse. She's spoken in a harsh, angry tone to me out of nowhere a couple times. After a few visits for the same issue over the span of a year, she said that whatever's wrong with me is not life-threatening and to just learn to deal with my symptoms and accept that this is something I'll always have to live with, even though at that point, it had started to interfere with my ability to go to work. I agree with other reviews saying she lacks sensitivity and blames patient problems on anxiety. She's told me to see a psychiatrist when I came in for a persistent, painful cough and chest pain. She's an okay doctor if you're already healthy though. Just don't get sick.

Dr. Spak-Schreiner often dismissed what I was saying and blamed all my symptoms on anxiety. Even when I came in trying to get her to sign about seeing a physical therapist for my chronic back pain she told me I needed to see a psychiatrist for that. And then when I had symptoms of feeling like I was going to pass out and dizziness among many other things she told me it was just anxiety and to see a psychiatrist and stop pursuing other answers because it’s not life threatening so it doesn’t matter what the answer is. After not listening to her and believing I just needed anxiety meds, I got the diagnosis of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome from another doctor, which is where your autonomic nervous system isn’t working properly. I was anxious because of what was happening to me not because of my typical anxiety that I already had before my new symptoms. Moral of the story, find someone who will take you seriously and not just blame absolutely everything on anxiety.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Spak for a physical as a new patient under my wife’s recommendation. My wife were with me in the room while Dr. Spak asked me about my health history and my parents’/brothers’ history. In many situations, my wife remembers details much better than me and helped me answer questions plus she asked whole bunch of questions in my regard (wife always seems to have more to say and ask...). I must say Dr. Spak was extremely patient listening to and verifying the answers from both of us even sometimes our answers were not in sync. I didn’t sense anything that Dr. Spak felt annoyed by such at all, she still pleasantly answered my wife’s questions. Not every doctor would have such nice attitude and patience, which is important to me. Her medical assistant Kathy also did a thorough followup with me for my blood work results. Their service is beyond my expectation and I would highly recommend Dr. Spak.

I found Dr. Spak-Scheiner to be an excellent doctor. I have only seen her on a wellness basis but I find her to be very thorough and compassionate. I never felt rushed or pressured. I felt she listened to my questions regarding test results and answered in enough detail.

She really likes to talk but doesn't listen very well. She is an awful doctor for someone like me with PTSD because she thinks she knows a lot but lacks sensitivity.
