Dr. Shengsheng Guan, DPM

I had a somewhat concerning experience here. The initial visit was okay, though the approach felt overly cautious. At my follow-up, I was advised to consider surgery or injection for an ankle sprain—I was not in pain, and I was young and healthy. There was a sense of urgency that made the decision feel pressured. I later got a second opinion, and the new provider reassured me that surgery was totally unnecessary and the recovery will not be as bad as Dr. Guan painted it to be. While I believe Dr. Guan meant well, I personally wouldn't recommend this provider for straightforward injuries, based on my experience.

I had an easy time making an appointment with Dr Shengsheng's office. No mention of fraud. Dr. Shengsheng seems very nice.

A sophisticated doctor. Dr Guan knows what he does. He gave good advises and solved my heel pain that had lingered for months. His practice collected patient portion ahead of time and would refund if overcharge after insurance payment.
