I fractured my L5 & S1 at 12 years old. I had went to five different orthopedic surgeons & when I finally found him I knew I wanted him to do my surgery. I could tell right away he genuinely cared about his patients. I am 20 now and started having more back issues after a lifting incident. I knew right away I wanted to go back to him, there was no doubt about it. He just did my surgery a week and a half ago & I have honestly never felt better. I feel like I’m getting my life back & I really do owe it to him. He is the best!

Ive had back painful back issues for over 5 years that no doctors could fix...then i met Dr Hishmeh. He performed a laminectomy and I felt immediate relief(within hours of surgery). For the first time in years im pain free and I can actually sleep at night now. I highly recommend for treatment. Between Dr. Hishmeh and his team, Cynthia and Ronia, it was an overall great experience. They handled all of the phone calls, emails, even making contacts with insurance and MRI/CT scans on my behalf to help the normally slow and painful process move along quickly without a hitch. It was truly a great experience that I wish I found years ago. They actually show genuine concern and care about your well being, you're not just another patient.

Excellent!!! I was having severe lower back/leg pain. Day after appt to schedule surgery, I couldn't walk. His office staff is amazing- they kept me on hold while they reached him, he operated next morning. He is a skilled surgeon!! When procedure was done, he could see pressure, kept probing, found broken piece of vertebrae sticking to a nerve. Finally- RELIEF!!!

I was diagnosed with a L-5 S-1 lower back condition by Dr. Hishmeh. Never having surgery before I was highly concerned, Dr. Hishmeh and his staff were extremely Professional , Kind , efficient and compassionate thus making my surgical experience seamless. My healing process went exactly as Dr. Hishmeh explained and I'm well on my way to 100 percent recovery. If Orthopedic Surgery is needed I highly recommend Dr. Hishmeh and his team.

Being a health care professional, I was naturally warry of spinal surgery and viewed it as a last option. I found myself in terrible pain with no relief from pain management or concertive treatment options. I went to Dr. Hishmeh through a good friends (a doctor) refurral. I found Dr. Hishmeh extremely well versed, willing to explain all options fully, respected in the medical community, and a talented surgeon. Today I am pain free thanks to Dr. Hishmeh's skills. I highly recommend Dr. Hishmeh.

I was 38 years old. Couldnt walk and was in excruciating pain constantly. The first thing Dr. Hishmeh told me was “if i dont have to operate, i wont”. Well, turns out 2 of the discs in my back ruptured and the resultant fluid was choking off the nerves to my right leg. Went to surgery 2 days after the diagnosis. I walked out of the hospital same day. He was patient with me and my wife (who called him at 2am). He responded immediately. Amazing bedside manner. Nothing but good things to say.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Hishmeh and his staff! I was diagnosed with lumbar stenosis and after PT, steroid shots, etc., I finally chose surgery. After recommendations, researching orthopedic surgeons, and consultations with these doctors I knew Dr. Hishmeh was the best. I am now able to resume all of my regular and daily activities without any pain or side effects. Dr. Hishmeh gave me back my quality of life! I would highly recommend him!

This surgeon is a phony, a liar and claims he can positively fix your problem but then yet after surgery you are worse than before. It's been said that he has different friends of his write good reviews for him to make him look great. The man is horrendous. The man will make you a cripple and you will lose your enjoyment in life. Avoid him at all cost.

Excellent surgeon with an awesome bedside manner. I went through over two and a half years of pain. Other doctors offered me nothing but pills. I even had a few that said I wasn't a candidate for surgery. My regular orthopedic recommended Dr Hishmeh. He looked at my films and found something they missed. With the exception of a little soreness right after the surgery, the pain I've had in my head for 2 and 1/2 years is gone. Absolutely love him. His staff is amazing to.

This is the most amazing doctor and staff combination I have ever experienced. I was in a bad car accident and I could not walk without a limp. I would sleep minimal hours every day and my wife’s would tell me that I would be whimpering and crying in my sleeep. I told her I wasn’t sleeping and that this happens every night. 6 months of PT and 9 months of chiro and nothing helped. I decided to go see Dr Hishmeh and He changed my life for the better! I am no completely pain free! THANK YOU!

Dr. Hishmeh was suggested to me by a friend who had a spinal fusion done, I had a prior back surgery with another doctor that was a nightmare Painful, Couldn't walk, and almost paralyzed with agonizing pain. He screwed up or did something so I was guaranteed another surgery by him and his "group of doctors" after a couple of years I decided to get my back surgery with Dr. Hishmeh and what can I say I was nervous and traumatized by the last surgery. I took the risk and it paid off! THE BEST DR!

On May 14th I had an extremely painful episode of non stop agony due to L5-S1 herniated disc impacting my sciatic nerve. This caused extreme pain traversing from my right buttock to my ankle 24/7 and left me bedridden and wheelchair bound. My doctor sent me to Dr Hishmeh on May 22nd, who jumped through hoops and performed surgery on May 26th. It would have never happened without the efforts of Dr. Hishmeh and his excellent staff. As of today May 31st, I am walking and pain free. Highly recommend

Dr. Hishmeh has taken care of my father and now me. He operated on my father about 5 years ago when he had a tough time walking. Now he walks Roosevelt field mall with his friends for 1 and a half hours every morning. About 7 months ago Dr. Hishmeh did neck surgery on me. I had a tough time swallowing and eating foods for about a week, but fast forward and I feel great. Some back of neck soreness at the end of the day, but otherwise great. My arm pain is gone and my strength is back to normal. I

Dr. Hishmeh is fantastic! I was diagnosed with 2 herniated discs in my cervical spine and pain management was no longer working for me. I didn't have quality of life - I couldn't do the things I loved anymore and it was also affecting my job. I was terrified of surgery but Dr. Hishmeh made me comfortable and confident that I was making the right decision. His bedside manner is top-notch and he couldn't be more friendly and comforting! I would highly recommend Dr. Hishmeh to my friends & family!
