He stated my concerns were accurate but cleared me to return to work with no suggestions that would assist in a smooth recovery. As black women, we are always neglected when it comes to our health and feelings of unease. If we say we feel x y x it is the job of the medical examiner to work with us in getting a better outcome.

Three years ago I broke my foot across the middle not at the ankle. It was horrible thank God for Dr. Lee who was able to put a severely damage foot back together. Giving me the opportunity to walk again. It was a difficult. Period on my life, boot, screws and healing, but I couldn’t have had a better doctor. Dr. Lee had the patients of Job during my transitional healing. Being one who can’t handle pain could sometimes cause me to be difficult patient. . Yet Dr Lee was always patient, kind, and understanding. In the interim, I still go to him for follow up and couldn’t recommend a better doctor for any type of foot surgery. Dr Lee is the best I thank God for him.

A foot and toe fusion surgery I have dreaded for years has been far easier than the same procedure on the other foot in 2016. The surgeon I worked with then was no longer available, so I found Dr. Lee.The Orthopedic Department has been friendly and very efficient. Working with them has been a pleasure.I am an athlete with high expectations, and many previous joint surgeries. Dr. Lee inspires complete confidence.

He fused my right toe about 3 years ago. It was painful months after the surgery and continues to be painful even when I am not walking. It doesn't allow me to play pickleball or hike more than an hour before I have to get off my feet. I get cramps and shooting pains on the top and bottom of my foot at night. It just isn't right. He offered to redo the surgery, but putting 7 more screws and a plate in my toe seems crazy.
