Stay far away
I had a troubling experience with Dr. Siraj Gibani at Casa Colina. He performed a procedure that should not have been done the same day—removing and replacing spinal cord stimulator wires—leading to severe complications. What was supposed to be a routine procedure turned into an eight-week hospital stay, and I ended up in a wheelchair for six months. Dr. Gibani misrepresented my condition and downplayed the risks involved. I now live with an incomplete paralyzation, and will require medication for life. Please, consider other options before seeing him; my experience suggests he lacks the necessary ethics and competency.

Absolutely no help
Doctor is condescending, uninterested, and gaslighting. I had moderate hopes for the appointment since the doctor who referred me to him is so wonderful but this doctor is not. He does not spend time with patients and is generally unconcerned about their health and well being. Saw another neurosurgeon after seeing Dr. Gibani and it was a night and day difference. I cannot convey enough what a waste of time that appointment was. Please do not assume I just wanted surgery and he wouldn’t do it. That is not the case. As I have stated he had no sense of care and seriously lacked empathy he was also not interested in prescribing other treatments besides surgery.
