Was admitted at the VBMC for a severe headache and I couldn't get any straight answers throughout the night as tests were being run on me. Dr. Martinez came in and connected all the dots for me. She was thorough in her explanation and compassionate to my fears. She anticipated my questions and gave me answers to questions I didn't know I had.

I question many of the doctors who treated my grandfather at VBMC. Am very disappointed with overall care. However, Dr. Martinez was the lone exception. Was compassionate, took time with my grandfather, and caught issues the other doctors did not have time to find. Very impressed by her knowledge and interpersonal skills. Highly recommend. Jon

I'm so upset. So we're here waiting with my dad. And a physician named sonia Martinez walked in with an attitude. My kids are in the room watching TV w my dad and she turns it down which is fine but my 6 year old messed with the remote and it turned up again. She storms off saying that she wasn't going to put up with the patient walking off on her and rude kids. My dad( 73 years old) was going to the restroom. He was already up when she walked in he smiled but obviously he cannot control it.
