After going to three ENT's over the course of ten years and being misdiagnosed with allergies, tonsillitis, etc. Dr. Shapshay thoughtfully considered my symptoms, ordered a CT scan and diagnosed a cholesteotoma. He then recommended an excellent surgeon to have it removed. He literally saved my life and I will be forever grateful.

I was referred to Dr Shapshay by my family physician when I struggled with swallowing. He quickly discovered I had a mass in my throat that needed to be removed. We set the date for surgery and I went home and Googled the diagnosis. It wasn’t giving me a good outcome. His kind demeanor allowed me confidence that all would be okay. The surgery went well and 5 years out I’m still going strong. You won’t find a more knowledgeable, kinder, well respected doctor.

Dr. Shapshay is a very distinguished, highly skilled physician who has a great friendly personalty. Dr. Shapshay examined my larynx and explained in detail with the help of visual aids, exactly what my problem was and recommended a surgical remediation. I will be returning to Dr. Shapshay in the future, as I have full confidence in his experience and abilities.
