Dr. Stephanie Elliott, DO

Dr Elliot was a replacement for a ObGYN I LOVED that left the practice and I was disappointed. At my well woman I asked about a new skin tag and she told me we could schedule a biopsy because it could be a skin tag or genital warts. I was a little shocked that wasn’t possible to do since I was already there. I was also asking for information about infertility that required ANOTHER appointment for 6 months out. That time is devastating for couples trying to conceive. I wasn’t impressed and I’ve found a new doctor.

I had several negative interactions with Dr. Elliot and her staff. At some point I had to give in and find another doctor. Especially if you require infertility testing, I would not recommend this practice. My experience with such a sensitive subject was met with cold communication and rushed appointments.

I've gone to this office for over 6 years and have had Dr. Elliott specifically for over 3 years, had her for my second child and now my third. This office can get quite busy at certain times of the day and does have some difficulties with scheduling but other than that I love this office, haven't once had a bad interaction with the Doctors or staff. Dr. Elliott is very blunt in a way she will tell you the true honesty of your situation and or questions you give her. Loved her for my c-section, after care and birth control and still loving her now throughout my third pregnancy!

I really like her she delivered my son back in October of 2019. She was nice and talk me through when i was pushing him out.

She was great she understood everything I was going through and gave me multiple ideas of how to deal with it.

I love this doctor!

Dr. Elliott has been the kindest, most capable OB that I've been to. She shows a personal level of care that is vital to making patients feel safe and comfortable. I would very much recommend her!! She is the best!

I was referred by the NKC ER after they saw what they thought was a dermoid ovarian cyst on my right ovary. The ER doctor said I should be seen within 7 days. Dr. Elliott's nurse told me "they say that to everyone" and offered an appointment a month out. Dr. Elliott didn't even look at my CT scan until four days after I went to the ER. (I went to the ER on a Thursday; she reviewed the CT scan on Monday.) I told the nurse I was in pain and nauseous. She said that Dr. Elliott had reviewed my CT scan, and that my issue wasn't urgent. I complained to NKC, and an appointment magically opened up. By that point, I already had an appointment elsewhere. My new doctor scheduled me for surgery right away. During surgery, she discovered the reason for my severe pain: I had a ruptured ovarian cyst, which was twisting a fallopian tube. I also had another cyst on the other side. They removed both cysts and my fallopian tube. Thank God I found a doctor who took my medical issue seriously.

Dr. Elliott is kind and capable, and I trust her with my health. I have recommended her to dozens of friends!

Dr. Elliott delivered my daughter in 2014. She was so kind and caring and had excellent bedside manner. I love this group as a whole!

I would like to give Dr. Elliott a five star, however, I think her staff is lacking. I was called to be informed my appointment was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled-understandable. However, I’ve called back three times and left messages to reschedule and no response-negligence. I will be looking for another physician and also contacting the board because I have no other way of getting my records. Unfortunate.

I normally never leave reviews but I feel in this case I should. I saw Dr. Elliott in March of 2018 with some issues that a previous doctor addressed. Dr. Elliott scheduled another ultrasound and when I visited with her didn't see any reason for surgery. I went on with the pain until I couldn't take it anymore. I saw a new doctor at a new hospital and had surgery to only discover I was dealing with stage 4 endometriosis. I'm 7 weeks post op and doing amazing! So happy for the new doctor that took time to really listen to me.

I avoided appointments with her during my pregnancy due to her bedside manner. She is blunt, but not in a way that leaves you feeling informed or heard. She was the only doctor through my pregnancy to discuss my weight, and told me that I was obese and reccommended a book to work on it. Each time I had to see her, I felt like she was irritated and judgmental about my questions leaving me feeling anxious and frustrated.

She is a amazing doctor with great bedside manner, she listened to my concerns and made sure that I was comfortable and made me feel as though I had options in my decision for my care. The wait was worth it.

I had a baby by C-section performed by Dr. Elliott. As a new mom, it was a scary experience for me, but she was calm and reassuring throughout the entire ordeal. Her skill and knowledge is impeccable. She also provided great follow-up care and spent as much time with me as needed. I never felt like she was trying to rush through any appointment, both during my pregnancy and after. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing gynecological or maternity care.
