I went in for my Jan. 2025 appointment and they had me sign a pain management contract which I was like ok, but I didn’t no I as doing pain management. Then they asked me to pee in a cup and I don’t take my medication only as needed and I hadn’t taken any pain medication in about 3 weeks, but all my other medication showed up good and they didn’t send a letter til it was time to refill my medication and it takes awhile to find a new PCP and I didn’t get to explain that I still had all my medication or talk to him. He fired me leaving me with no medication or a new PCP. I think it should be unexceptionable to do that to a patient. He has no fillings for his patients. I can’t wait til the bored of doctors talks to him and they finally are helping the patients now. Thanks Dr. Carney for leaving a great patient with no options and no time to find a PCP. Happy New Year. I will say this Amy is the best nurse that should get paid more than him. She does all the real work.

Costly chaos
Literally, the man came in, sat in his chair, open his computer tact for about two minutes, asked how I was doing and if I had any new problems which I did, and he just gave me some vague solution And then never even made iContact and walked out of the room. I had to go hunt the nurse down to let her know that I still needed other things done at the doctor like bloodwork. Another thing that has been happening a lot is 3 months in a row they will call you and say that Dr. Carney isn’t going to be in the office the day of my appointment, so it has to be rescheduled after I already ask off for work for the appointment. And then they act like it’s your fault when you go bad and say I can’t go this long without seeing you and writing medication‘s on refills I mean really I don’t know what happened to the first few years that I went to him he was a very good doctor and his nurse Amy was super nice now they’re both very rude and unprofessional and act like you’re a burden to them.

Terrible doctor. Terrible office.
Two month appointment visit. Doctor never looked at my chart. Wanted to order more blood work which I already had. Asked how much I smoked which was on my chart that I didn’t! Waited over an hour for less than 5 minutes with doctor.

These are not doctors. This DR. won't make eye contact or explain anything. He will prescribe medicine, but if you are a woman, especially single, they look at you like "oh another crazy woman" and throw a bunch of meds at you: even if you have very real physical ailments like thyroid conditions and kidney problems. Also, they treat people badly if you have Medicaid and medicare . IF you have more than high blood pressure or high cholesterol I would not recommend this "doctor."

I made a follow-up appointment for routine blood work. At the end of the very short session where I felt no empathy or compassion, Dr. Carney was not making the typical routine plan to send me to the lab. I asked why and he seemed taken aback and said "well, are you going to pay for it?" I had just pre-paid for this very appointment with him. Dr. Carney told me that a specialist he might refer me to regarding a question I had about my future medical care would likely not see me because I did not have insurance. I said I would pay cash just like I paid Dr. Carney. He told me that because I did not have insurance I would be viewed "as a deadbeat". I don't owe a dime for medical care at this point in time. I was very offended. I won't go back to him.
