Dr. Stephen Humm, MD

Dr. Humm was very easy to talk to, he answered all the questions about upcoming procedure and made me feel safe and at ease.

He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but he is also incredibly easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable to ask him any questions during my visit. It was like talking to a friend, who just so happens to be the doctor. I didn’t have a single concern about his competence and could tell that he really cares about his patients. And in that vein, he doesn’t talk down to you, like so many doctors do. The patient is as much a part of the treatment plan as he is. But I’ll let him make the big decisions.

Dr. Humm saved my life. I was diagnosed with colon cancer and from the beginning of my treatment, he made the whole process to be as pleasant possible. His kindness and knowledge were exceptional. Thank you for taking care of me.

This is my first appointment with Dr. Humm and I found him to be knowledgeable and personable. I particularly was impressed by his recommendation as it saw me as a whole person, not just as a colonoscopy patient for whom a colonoscopy is recommended yearly.

Dr. Humm is the BEST gastroenterologist I have ever experienced and I have had many in the past 25 year, suffering from Gerd, Reflux and Barrett's Esophagus. He is a caring person and really listens. What I most appreciate is his ability and willingness to "think outside the box".

Dr Humm is outstanding. I was having some problems. He review my tests, asked questions, and then told me what he thought was happening. He gave me 3 options to handle it, explained each, and then asked me which I wanted to try. He then explained what would happen during my choice and the risks. He was so caring and patient. The other doctor that I was going to at the same practice, did nothing about my problem, even with pushing from my GP! I am sooooooooooooooo happy going to Dr. Humm.

I have been very pleased with my experiences at this office with Dr. Humm. He is an excellent listener and took time with me and my concerns. I didn't feel rushed. I like his conservative approach to treatment.

I am a woman of age and is finding the need to see different doctors quite often. It seems that doctors are pushing you out of the office without hearing your concerns but he is a wonderful difference. He explains in simple terms and ensures that you understand. He make notes of what he said for you to take home, has genuine care for patients and seems to love what he does. ABSOLUTELY GREAT!

I wish there were more than five stars to rate Dr. Humm. He is a truly awesome doctor. I went to him based upon reviews on healthgrades.com. He is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable doctors you could meet. He truly listens and truly cares. He also has a great sense of humor so it helps put you at ease. My appt. was at 2:00 pm and they saw me right on time. The front desk staff and the PA were also just incredibly nice. Just overall a great practice and doctor!

I chose Dr. Humm based on reviews on Health Grades and was very happy with his knowledge level, and his "bedside" manner. He was very professional, explained the procedures very well, and respected my knowledge of my own health problems with two chronic diseases. He was also attentive to possible drug interactions, given my complex medical conditions. That was very important to me and he exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him.
