Dr. Stephen Parazin, MD

I’ve had 5 previous back surgeries and the last one, a year ago, left me needing to use canes or a walker. Dr. Parazin was recommended to me by a Precious Lady, who I will forever be grateful to! Although I need another surgery, I have complete confidence in Dr Parazin! He is an extremely talented surgeon who I empathically Trust!

Dr. Parazin has an engaging manner that I have seen in few surgeons. His explanation and assessment of my MRI films, were clear. He took time to explain treatment options and risks. He treats patients with respect and answers all questions. You feel he is working with you as an equal, providing professional judgment but leaving final decisions in the patient’s hands. He takes time to communicate effectively, which inspires confidence.

He was straight to the point, concise, and showed the mri pictures for a better understanding

A quick last visit for neck surgery that beat my expectations

First time appt with Dr. P for a second opinion. Right on time, he clearly explained the problems with my spine, reviewed my treatment history and options, and ordered a myelogram @ NE Baptist Hospital (he wasn’t thrilled with the quality of my MRI or CT done elsewhere) to gather more info on EXACTLY what problem areas to address first, and how. I was very grateful for his time & expertise, especially as this has been a longstanding painful and disabling condition NOT rectified to date via laminectomy 18 months ago and 4 steroid injections before and after. I met with Dr. Parazin the other day. Extremely professional and gives you all the information and answered all my questions I had. Highly recommend him, and I have full confidence in my surgery coming up with him.

Dr Parazin is a talented surgeon who brought me back to a life without pain in my back or legs. After 3 plus years of pain and different doctors who couldn’t diagnose the problem, Dr Parazin diagnosed the issue and corrected it with surgery. He’s very knowledgeable and explains the medical aspects and easy to understand language.

Dr. Parazins skill and knowledge as a surgeon has given me back my quality of life. He is intelligent , knowledgeable ,straightforward, and professional. I went from extreme daily neck pain (due to radiation treatment 30 years ago) with dropped head syndrome to pain free 5 weeks after surgery! I can’t say enough good things about him. This guy is the best and I would refer him to any family member or friend with full confidence. I am enjoying all the simple things in life again. I searched the web site to do a referral for a patient and was horrified to see how they represent their non physician staff. If I was one of their "physician extenders" I would be totally embarassed by their opinion and value of my presence in their practice. Really???? Physician extenders what are the nurse practitioners and physician associates viagra? How do they extend the physician. As an independent NP we PRACTICE MEDICINE ON OUR OWN. We make assessments, diagnoses, and treat patients with complex medical conditions. We do not extend anyone or anything but we stand on our own. Please take this review seriously and change your way of thinking and most definately change the web site.

I’m going to have neck surgery. Dr Parazin explained the procedure extremely well. He has already done a spinal fusion and the results are promising. I still have another 6 months of healing but I already see vast improvements. Dr Parazin one of the best doctors I’ve had.

Dr. Parazin explained my problem very well and he also explained what could be done to fix it. Listening to him you could tell that he is an expert at what he does. I went for a second opinion but now I am tempted to switch and get the procedure from him. That's how highly I think of him. He is compassionate and easy to get along with. Being the first time I met him, I felt like I have known him for a long time. I will recommend him to people I know.

Dr. Parazin was on time and took the time to go over everything that I brought with me. He answered all of my questions and some. He asked where the pain was coming from and helped determine what might be causing the pain. The one thing that I really appreciated about him was that he said that if he couldn't determine what the problem was that he would work me to figure it out.

Dr Parazin has been nothing but honest and compassionate about my condition. Explained procedures, The good and bad. He tells it like it is, yet is very very caring. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Just went for my yearly checkup after fusion surgery and I am very pleased with the results. Thank You so much for giving me back my life.
