Doesn’t sugarcoat anything! He is an Absolutely Awesome Doctor! I wouldn’t be here to write this review had he not been there for me all these years! THANK YOU DOCTOR WATTS AND HIS STAFF! Dr. Watts has saved my life. That is a simple fact
It has been about ten years since I first saw Dr. Watts. Thank God I found him. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to him and his staff for literally saving my life. Long story short: I was a very sick man. Dr. Watts was and is always during each and every appointment thoroughly prepared. He has always beforehand reviewed my entire history. He gives thorough, concise, understandable diagnosis and explanations. He makes recommendations. But there is always a two way exchange between us until continuing treatments or future treatments, including medication(s) decisions are made and are mutually agreeable. Cardioversions, an RF Ablation, and a Cryoablation were among those decisions. I am now cardio medication free - sinus rhythm. If there were more than five stars, I would give them to Dr. Watts. There is no better than Dr. Watts…. anywhere. I would also give more stars in particular to his Nurse Practitioners, but also to his entire staff.

Dr. Watts is an outstanding doctor / surgeon
I was a patient of Dr. Watts until a coding issue with their pathology group caused me to pay $47.00 for a miscoded lab order. I quit Steward Medical Group due to the billing and pathology staff. They are inept at their job and caused me to waste numerous hours of my time to no avail. The interesting thing is I had the same procedure for a second time and it worked like it was supposed to. Unfortunately, I will no longer associate with Steward Medical Group over a $47.00 mistake on their part. Dr. Watts and his staff are wonderful but unfortunately the pathology staff and billing staff are terrible and caused me to leave. Good riddance.

Went to have a electric cardioversion for persistent afib and I was not properly sedated ( actually he did not have an anesthesiologist present) ( I was told I would not feel or remember anything.by his nurse practitioner Wendy ) and felt the pain electric jolt of 200 joules of electricity !! The pain was horrible I trusted Dr Watts to give me the best care available but feel he did not care or take good care of me. The procedure was very traumatic and I would never put my self thru it again. This was not an emergency but a scheduled procedure. I also trusted his Nurse at his office to be educated enough to know what she was talking about but was given inaccurate information telling me there was no medication to cardio vert my heart back into sinus rhythm - not true. I do not feel Dr Watts cares one way or another.

Saw me in the hospital, was clear and direct it articulating my diagnosis and treatment options. Provided two alternatives and explained the associated risks of each.

Dr. Stephen Watts, M.D., is considered one of the foremost electro-physiologists in Central Florida. I was referred to him in February 2012 for atrial fibrillation, and have since been under his surgical and clinical care. Dr. Watts is backed up by what I, personally, consider to be the friendliest and most professional medical staff and front office in Brevard County. Heart Rhythm Associates is the only cardiology clinic to properly and consistently regulate my Protime/INR - critical to Afib.
