I felt that Dr. Ramos and the staff at SAGA/SAGEC treated many of his patients with callous disregard. Dr. Ramos stacked his schedule so that many of us waited 2-3 additional hours to have our procedures performed. Those of us waiting for colonoscopies had not eaten solid food in over 36 hours and were dehydrated because we were forbidden from drinking even water for the previous 12+ hours. The staff made no offer to have another doctor perform our procedures, while all five patients waiting in the area where I was (at 11:30 AM) were Dr. Ramos' patients. I was not put onto a gurney until I threatened to walk out at 12:20 PM. Another patient (a diabetic who could no longer wait to eat) left at noon after the staff lied to his significant other about monitoring his blood sugar. (They assured her that they were doing so, according to him, but he was out in the hallway with me.) One nurse (Kathy) even tried to engage me in a political debate about vaccination mandates. We will never return

My visit was excellent! I experienced friendly assistance. I was attended fairly. I had no worries because everyone explained to me what was going to take place. I was made comfortable through the whole process. This was my second time, and in 10 years I intend to come back. Thank you Dr Ramos, staff and everyone involved.

I have entrusted Dr. Ramos with my chronic condition for almost 10 years. Through times of being able to take sick leave from work to visit him, times of being out of the job and on Obamacare, having a job with no availability to take time for doctor visits, and during Covid times of only virtual visits, Dr. Ramos has been more than amenable to providing me the best care possible. Dr. Ramos is thorough and professional. When it was time for my healthy husband without a chronic condition to get a colonoscopy, I knew it had to be Dr. Ramos to perform the procedure/assessment. I highly recommend anyone who has unresolved digestive issues to get on the list to see Dr. Ramos.

Every time I come here the wait is horrible. One then waits in the exam room for at least 20 minutes. He comes in and then he is gone. One then has to wait in the interior waiting room to see when you will be having your procedure. It’s been 1 hr and 30 minutes and I am still waiting.

The previous visit he had been late as well and didn't say anything.I guess my time isnt important as his.I also had a virtual visit and the office confirmed the day and the time.Well the next day a hour and a half later still no call so I called them and then they called me back.He got on the phone never once apologized for never having called just started talking to me as if he didn't really understand why we did the procedure in the beginning and then acted like my concerns were not important.I felt he was kind of off putting from the first visit so needless to say I have promptly found another gastroenterologist.
