Dr. Susan Andracchi, MD

Years ago I was hit above my eye with a surfboard. She is just amazing. Very thorough.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Andracchi. I was diagnosed with wet AMD a year ago and was being treated at another office nearby. The difference is astounding. Wet AMD is a devastating condition but Dr. Andracchi is amazing. She never fails to explain conditions with empathy and understanding. She is careful to caution me about potential side effects or emergency situations. Dr. Andracchi’s entire staff is extremely kind and caring while maintaining professional organization. The office is efficiently run with wait times minimal. There is not high enough praise I can give them.

I have been bringing my 99 year old mother-in-law, who has both macular degeneration and glaucoma, to Dr. Andracchi for at least 5 years. Dr. Andracchi and her staff have done their best to preserve what little sight my MIL has left and I am grateful for their knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. But what I am MOST grateful for is the patience and compassion they have show to my MIL and me. As my MIL has aged and exhibited more infirmities, the staff has always made sure to accommodate her needs. Every single person, from Dr. Andracchi to the clinical staff to the office personnel has been amazing.

Dr. Andracchi is a wonderful and very caring eye Dr. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I am so lucky to have someone like her in the Wilmington area.

Both the good caring doctor and staff are the best. They put all patients care first. They go out of their way to serve all patients.

EVERYONE at Dt. Andracchi's office is a pro, while also being courteous, friendly & caring. The receptionist welcomes us with a beautiful smile & positive energy, putting us at ease. The waiting room is light & comfortable. The techs are patient & understanding as they take my mom (96) through various tests & pre-procedure preparation. Dr.Andracchi (&PA) is a gem. She is thorough, knowledgeable, caring & interested. She listens, takes time to explain what/why she is doing to achieve best outcome

Dr Andracchi is the only specialist I have seen that has taken the time to fully understand the issues with my eyes and unlike the other two I was referred to provide treatment that has stabilized my condition. She cares about the people she treats and most important of all she is always looking for solutions - not just accepting the status quo. If you are looking for a doctor that you can trust and will do everything possible to keep your eyes as healthy as possible she is the Doctor you want.
