I left the hospital still throwing up and had to call 911 a few hrs.later after getting home, call the office 4 times the following day, no has yet returned my call… still in alot of pain

Dr Cera is a true physician who puts her patient's welfare first. She is very experienced , very knowledgable and very plesant. She always answers my questions and I would recommend her without hesitation.

I prefer that a digital rectal exam would not be done while several other persons stood within touching distance to me. There was no explanation of this unusual behavior. They appeared to be looking at a computer screen. What was on the Screen? I do no know, but I was not asked for permission to share the procedure. Just what was going on? I feel I am due an explanation of what seemed to be unprofessional behavior—-at the very least.

Dr Cera is very understanding and cognizant of your feelings. She makes you feel ver comfortable.

Dr. Cera is very patient. She does not rush appointments. She provides clear explanations for decisions and is always happy to explain when I have questions. I trust her judgment and absolutely recommend using her.

After 5 years I am still suffering from Dr. Cera's operation. I get very sick every day. I cannot eat many meals out. My system is so agitated. Please get a second opinion. I have a new doctor who said he would have tried less aggressive methods with my condition. Dr. Cera likes $$$$$. She likes to operate and makes a lot of money doing procedures that may not be necessary. Plus, she has no after support. I cannot say enough about how horrible she and her staff treated me after the operation. If you have cancer, she is your gal, but if you have other issues get another opinion.

Dr Cera’s staff and surgical screening procedure was as comforting as the best day spa

I had chronic terrible hemorrhoids for years that were keeping me off my feet and unable to even stand for 5 minutes at a time. Other doctors kept just giving me useless ligations and claimed they could do nothing else or that a hemorrhoidectomy would be extremely painful and that it may not even help. I thank the heavens I found Dr. Cera! She was the only doctor who was confident she had a solution. She completed the hemorrhoidectomy surgery which went wonderfully well. She gave me my life back and I am so grateful to her.

Horrible experience with Dr. Cera! (The facility and it's staff were wonderful). I made an apt. for my annual colonoscopy (cancer) and asked twice if I could do it without anesthesia as I have done up North for 6 years. I was told yes. I then called back twice (after not receiving the Suprep script or instructions and asked again about the anesthesia.) I had Suprep from a previous procedure and never did get the script or instructions and so called back twice 2 days before procedure, and again asked about the anesthesia.. The day before I was called by her office and had a 10 minute discussion about my choice to forgo anesthesia, and when told AGAIN it was all right, spent that day and night doing the prep. I went in at 6AM the next day ONLY TO BE TOLD SHE WOULD NOT DO THE PROCEDURE WITHOUT ANESTHESIA!!!! Dr. Cera, in a very demeaning tone, told me “no one in her office would tell me that” ...as if I was lying!! Who would go through that prep and show up at 6 if you knew she would not

I selected Dr. Cera for a follow-up post d/c from an IP stay for diverticulitis. She has great training and specialized experience with GI surgery. I found her approach to be personal, genuine and authentic. While yes, I need to have surgery, the explanation and choice of how to do it was very clear and to the point. I look forward to having her as part of my healthcare team.

Awful. She performed a surgery on me without asking critical presurgery questions. Another surgeon said I should never have had the surgery. Now I’m stuck with fecal incontinence for life. Post surgery care was subpar.

She performed my colonoscopy. I absolutely recommend her.

Dr.Cera was referred to me back in 2014 , I was very pleased with her disposition, explaining what’s going on in English as to understanding, very good about returning phone calls, checking on you! My cancer had a reacurrance in 2018 and went back to her, she made me feel comfortable, trusting, I would recommend her to anyone!! Thank you, Kim Harless

She is excellent. Very nice but also very thorough Takes her time with to and explains everything. She is a great doctor.

Dr Cera is exceptional. Removed my gallbladder and treated my sister for diverticulitis. We both had colonoscopies without a problem. Would highly recommend her .The nicest and most compassionate Dr. Lucky to have her in this area.

Dr. Cera has great "patient bedside" skills. She takes time to explain things and you can tell she empathizes with your situation. This carries through to her support staff/team as well. Would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Susan Cera!
