Dr. Susan Dorsey, MD

Dr. Dorsey sees my son, she doesn't read their records before seeing them. When he mentioned some issues, he is having she laughed at him. She just wants to medicate him instead of looking for the root cause. He has a hernia which she refuses to send him to a surgeon for that. And when he was leaving, she said oh you are 45 should we schedule you for a colonoscopy? Which she already did, and he had that and endoscopy and was diagnosed with the hernia then. Proving she doesn't look at the records before going into the room.

Did not order an x-ray for elderly patient with pneumonia. No follow-up. Neglects patients.

I am a now retired healthcare provider. Dr. Dorsey has been my primary care doctor for over 25 years and has provided excellent care and guidance for multiple chronic immune system issues.

Dr. Dorsey is thorough, thoughtful, and professional. I am confident in her care. I have moved away from Saratoga and travel to see her. I would recommend her to anyone who asks.

She was so rude to me. I had a serious problem. She did nothing to help me. She just yelled at me for 10 minutes, and then walked out !! She treated me awful. This was a few years ago, and I felt that now I should let people know about this terrible experience ! I have not spoken to her since. I know how absolutely shocked poor Dr. Noonan would be if he knew. She has no idea how that awful day affected me, and still does. I have not seen a physician in a 1 year. I have no desire to be treated with no respect and get no help for my problems. She is horrible!!! I got treatment elsewhere and the wonderful Doctors and nurses got me though. They helped me with my problem; no help from Dorsey. I wonder how many other patients are afraid to say something !!!!!

Dr Dorsey in multiple occasions has our innacurate information in my chart and has misdiagnosed me a couple of times. I do not trust her.

Dr Dorsey has been seeing me for over 10 years. I strongly believe she’s a physician that cares about my health and even follows up with my other providers to keep my medical record updated. I feel she offers up her medical opinion easy and always has knowledgeable insights into my health concerns. She is never condescending when explaining I have been misinformed by the internet. If I ask for certain labs to be drawn she always obliges and her staff does send me copies of results which I truly appreciate. I find her office to be quite busy every time I am in there. There are signs recently added in the waiting area to encourage patients to be mindful and respectful to all of the staff.

Dr. Dorsey is an amazing physician. She listens and cares, and explains medications thoroughly. The best experience with a physician that I've ever had.

She is very thorough and informative about everything. She also has a very friendly personality. She took excellent care of my husband when he developed Prostate Cancer and I will never forget that...Thank You Dr. Dorsey for everything...

Dr Dorsey was terrific. Best I can say is I trust her. She was sincerely interested in helping me.

Dr. Dorsey gave me erroneous medical advice that conflicted with a doctor who I've known and trusted for many years. Had I trusted and taken her advice, I could have wound up very sick.

My husband and I have been patients with Dr. Dorsey for many years. In our opinion she is outstanding, extremely thorough and easy to talk to. She listens and solve the problem. She is courteous, efficient and non judgemental. We are very pleased with her service and would highly recommend her! Her staff are always pleasant to deal with and super efficient which is rare nowadays. Rose and Emily are amazing! It is so refreshing to be treated so promptly and pleasantly. It is also so efficient, as their office has imaging in the same building.

Dr. Dorsey is fine but staff is horrible. Last week I called for for medication refill and here a week later and still waiting. I called for the refill once again today. I have only one dose left. Yesterday I called with a problem that could have easily and quickly could be remedied. I waited 4 hours for a nurse to return my call. I went to urgent care and within an hour I was walking out the door with problem diagnosed.

I recently switched to Dr. Dorsey, after having a doctor for several years that was not at all helpful and my check-ups were perfunctory at best. Dr. Dorsey spent a lot of time with me, asks good questions, provides very clear and thorough explanations to my questions, and she and her office staff were very efficient around setting up routine procedures like a mammogram. I am so glad that I switched doctors. I do agree that her office staff are gruff. That's not OK but I'm going to see the doctor, not the receptionist.

She is very reserved. She is very thorough and made me feel comfortable the whole time. It takes a while to get to know her. Excellent primary care doctor.

Very knowledgeable, always addresses all my questions and problems. Always encourages healthy lifestyle which I appreciate a lot. I was always able to get an appointment on short notice when I need it.

I found Dr Dorsey to be very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and I am happy to have her as a resource for my health.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Dorsey's care. Unlike other physicians I have been to who seem to just want you in and out the door as fast as possible, I felt Dr. Dorsey gave me her time and attention without being rushed.
