She was down to earth. The wait for her call was less than 5 minutes. Very knowledgeable. If she’s not sure of something, she’ll look it up right then & there. She explains what the meds are for & how they work in your system. She takes into account your other medical problems so that the meds she prescribed doesn’t negatively impact the other meds. Great listener.

Lost contact with her in July 2020. My wife had an online consultation appointment scheduled for July 2,2020. She never called. I could not reach her on her personal cellphone #, voicemail, text or email. My wife had been her patient for 7 years. Still have not heard from her.

woman put me on four (4) different medications , some of which were to be taken three (3) times per day, totally against the prescribing guidelines. Trusting this woman caused me to lose a good job that I had in Lafayette, and my wife also. like weezer song, the best of your days will all vanish in the haze cause your, ON DRUGS.

something must be going on relatively recent she was always available until 2019 got here and it takes an act of congress to get a human with that new invention called a telephone......to get meds refilled get your checkbook out IF you can find her. surely there must be some explanation.......or not, but im tired of second guessing, im thinking financial woes or sympathetic mental breakdown

This doctor should have her medical license stripped from her. Our entire family had been seeing her for over 3 1/2 years. We endured horrible staff and unprofessionalism from her staff as well as extreme wait times in excess of 5 hours. We stayed only because we thought she was a great doctor. Well she did not keep multiple appointments with no explanation and now she has stopped responding all together. Way to go doc. This is a prime example of the state of mental health in this country.

I've been seeing this MD for several years, and I finally see that I have no alternative but to fire her. From day one, I've had trouble with everything! Appointment setting, getting no answer on every phone, doesn't return calls, on her days off, there is no one who can assist with anything! Dr. Uhrich is very nice, but both she and her staff are out of control.

I would have to say that Dr. Uhrich is the most empathetic and experienced Doctor in her field of practice. She is very different from any other Doctor ( in any specialty) I had met. Dr. Uhrich doesn't think about her job as a money making business ( as most Doctors do).She remembers everything you shared with her, she cares about you and does anything she can to help you. That's what makes her so unique- you are a person for her, not just a number or a co-payment. Dr. Uhrich is very knowledgeable and very kind. It's very hard to find another Doctor as great as she is. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and caring.

Awful. The first time we went, our appt. was at 1:00, and we left the office at 8:45 pm! Nurse never calls back, doesn't respond to drug stores, etc. Takes off when doctor is off, so no meds can be filled. Front desk never answers phone--NEVER. If you want anxiety, this is the place for you!

I have been fortunate to see good psychiatrist in the past. However I have a mother that was under her care. It looked like she had entered boot camp rather than a psychiatrists facility. My mother was a patient there but once we recognized that Uhrich was a pill prescriber rather than a doctor we did not return. She’s the prime example of our broken mental health system. The staff looks like they just got out of bed, the office rooms are filthy and this dr should be shut down.

I have been under Dr Uhrich and her nurse practitioner, Cinderella, care for 6 month now and all I can say is I am worse now than I was before I stepped foot in that door. I have been prescribed more than a handful of medications since day one. At least 5 just to start with. How can anyone possibly decipher what is doing what with so many possible side effects from mixing or just my body not agreeing to it. They do not listen to you at all. They just do not care.

Terrible experience!!! I was prescribed a very high dose of an anti-psychotic that I have never taken before to help with sleep and ended up having an adverse reaction. I ended up in ICU for a week. I tried to get released from the hospital, but they said she would have to approve and she felt it was best that I be sent to another facility (mental hospital) for medication management. I finally got the hospital to get another doctor to release me. Needless to say I won't be going back there ever.

Has a deep knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychology and also has a sense of intuition that surpasses any doctor I've ever experienced. I would recommend her for treatment-resistant depression she is the most qualified doctor in the area. also has a positive attitude and compassionate and supportive affect.

Horrible, unorganized staff. They always screw up your file or appointment in some way. Wait times were at least half an hour, but often as much as an hour and a half. Dr. Uhrich believes in stuffing a patient full of high-dose meds. Even when I'd be adamant about not wanting to try a certain drug (side effects, too strong, etc.) they would deny me any other options until I tried it. No therapy recommended either- just pill popping. Sure that's great for strong short term fix, not for long term.
