Worst bedside manner ever
How does she have so many 5 stars? Are they all bots? With my first pregnancy, Dr. Prather casually told me my blood pressure was high and that I would be induced with no explanation, even when asked. She was annoyed at my worry. My BP continued to skyrocket for every appointment thereafter because of my anxiety with her. Popped out the baby - she tells me to lose weight within the first 24 hours as a new mom. I decided to stick with the practice for my second pregnancy bc the others were good (Go Dr. Adams!). A miscarriage was suspected at 16 weeks and while waiting final confirmation, she called to nonchalantly say "Hey. If you need an antidepressant because...well, you know...we can do that". That confirmed the impending news vs getting it delivered delicately. The other doctors were so sympathetic and helpful and caring. Does she even like women or babies? I've moved practices because of her because I can't risk seeing her for future pregnancies.

The BEST ongyn ever. Won’t let you fret the small stuff, and has great bed-side manners. 10/10 recommend to everyone I know!

Dr. Prather is fantastic. I had multiple mom friends from different social circles RAVE about her and the practice, and I am so glad I made the switch. She is blunt, but so am I, so I love her. I could see how she might rub someone more sensitive the wrong way, but I think she’s awesome and has a great sense of humor. I’m now pregnant with my first, and Dr. Prather and Dr. Perucci are my faves - I couldn’t be more happy with my prenatal care team!

I recently switched Oby doctors for logistic reason and found Dr Prather. I've lived around DC area and had top doctors, I've never experienced a doctor suggesting 'do not even come to ultrasound because you will miscarry'. My husband and I reported this incident and her horrible bed side manners (not to mention she hurts you during pap smear). As a patient you have all rights to investigate your situation. We went to two other doctors, they were cautiously optimistic about our case. She needs t

As a mom I couldn't have asked for better care for my daughter. Dr. Prather was her advocate and ensured she received the best care. Thank you!

Dr. Prather is one of the most knowledgeable and personable physicians let alone OB/Gyn's I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and seeing in an office setting as well as hospital setting. She's honest, straight forward and has the best bedside manner.
