Dr. Susanne Saltzman, MD

I began to see Dr. Saltzman in the summer of 2014. Even with trying to be as healthy as possible, I was suffering from mood swings, increased anger and a lack of any type of libido. I had a 4 year old and a one year old and I simply hadn't been myself in a long time. I was certain I was starting to go through menopause at the age of 42. After my first session, (which felt like therapy) she told me I was NOT going through menopause and gave me my first remedy. Within 20 minutes, I felt almost giddy. I had all kinds of energy and suddenly liked everyone around me. I hadn't felt this way in years. It was truly a miracle. Since then, I have seen Dr. Saltzman one to two times per year for my remedy. I would never recommend this woman who calls herself a doctor. She kept me attending for well over a year, gave not one remedy that helped, and would spend our sessions often asking me the same questions over and over again. She kept a lab test from me for over three weeks, saying it wasn't helpful. But an endocrinologist has been alerted by the results which I had to fight to receive. She wasn't helping me at all, and still raised her rates (no insurance). She had told me her remedies were part of the price, but then proceeded to try and sell me very expensive bottles of supplements. After finally receiving my lab report, I never heard from her again. Totally unprofessional the manner in which she just cut me off and had no closure to our lengthy time together.

Dr. Saltzman has made my life Nexium free. When I came to see her I had asthmatic symptoms and huge acid reflux. My pulmonologist told me that my lungs were fine and it was the acid that was triggering the asthmatic symptoms. This was confirmed by Dr. Saltzman that they were connected. Nexium was intolerable. I went to Dr. Salzman twice for Hashimoto Thyroiditis, a condition she claims is her specialty. The two visits cost almost a thousand dollars, not covered by insurance. She ordered expensive lab tests, and sold me various supplements, several of which did not agree with me and others which were not necessary. She refused to try another medication for my debilitating symptoms. Her plan was to put homeopathic substances under my tongue each week to figure out my symptoms.
