Dr. Taryn Lieberman, MD

Dr Lieberman is condescending in person, lacks empathy to a staggering degree and just wrote off my concerns. Essentially me to stop googling things (I brought up relevant literature from medical journals). When i reached out to her multiple times via her nurse, she wrote me off every time. I have suffered with this problem for a year now because I have been scarred from our interractions. I feared telling another doctor and not being believed. Finally a few weeks ago I met with another obgyn who finally took steps to help me. HAVING YOUR CONCERNS DISMISSED BY YOUR DOCTOR IS TRAUMATIZING.

I very rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so that I can help others who may end up seeing Dr. Lieberman while on their fertility journey. My husband and I had a follow up visit with Dr. Lieberman following our first miscarriage from our first pregnancy. There's obviously a lot of emotions and grief to process followed by a lot of questions for 'what can we do to decrease the chances of this happening again?' She was INCREDIBLY rude, borderline raised her voice at me and told me I was not yet suffering from recurrent miscarriage so the best thing to do it 'just try again' (as she condescendingly tapped my knee). She was rushing out of the room and had absolutely no regard for us. The ONLY reason I'm staying at the practice is because the other doctors have been wonderful. I do not recommend her, especially if you are going through a hard time.

I never leave reviews, but felt compelled to write this one. I saw Dr. Lieberman a few days before going into labor, because my actual doctor was on holiday, and I have never had a worse experience with a doctor. She was extremely rude to me. There was a scheduling miscommunication and rather than figuring it out within the practice and their admin staff, she took it out on me. She talked down to me for the whole duration of the appointment, did not believe me when I told her I was not aware of the scheduling issues she kept bringing up. She said horrible things to someone about to give birth in a few days and was exceptionally unprofessional and unkind. The only reason I haven't written off the practice where she works entirely is that both the clinic manager and my doctor called me to apologize for her behavior. I would NOT recommend her to anyone. I still feel shaken and unsafe thinking about that appointment and how I was treated.

I never leave reviews but felt that I had to this time. I was eager to meet Dr. Lieberman because of all the positive reviews I’ve seen but was so disappointed by her bedside manner. She presented as unfriendly and short and made me feel like I was wasting her time. She came off extremely insensitive and unwilling to walk me through our preconception meeting (which she essentially said shouldn’t have been booked in the first place). In regard to getting pregnant her response was “you just do it.” When i updated her about my desire to freeze my eggs she said to talk directly to the egg freezing practice and that there was no need to let her know. She might as well have said i was wasting her time. “If you want to do it just pick a donor and get pregnant.” It was honestly really hurtful and completely inappropriate. I’d like to hope she was having a terrible day but regardless, her behavior was not ok. Honestly, I won’t be returning. I want to feel safe/comfortable with my OBGYN.

She was wonderful and caring throughout the prenatal visits. We were lucky to have her deliver our baby as well!! Very professional and did a wonderful job!

Self righteous young doctor with tremendous lack of empathy.

My favorite person, ever! She has managed 2 successful pregnancies for me after I had 3 miscarriages under the care of a different doctor. I am so grateful to have been referred to her, She has literally changed my life!

Dr. Lieberman is outstanding. I've been seeing her throughout the duration of my first pregnancy and could not be more satisfied with the level of care she provides.
