Comforting
I met with Dr. Messer after breaking my index finger. He was so comforting, professional and courteous. As I have never had a broken bone before he explained in detail about my necessary surgery in language for a lay person. Surgery went as he had explained. Although I hope to never break another bone, I would return to his office without a qualm. Also, the entire staff that I dealt with were exceptional. Thank you.

Thorough, thoughtful, professional
I went into the first visit with, after evaluation, was a likely torn tendon that would possibly need repair or replacement. During second visit he reviewed the MRI report and images and thoroughly re-evaluated the arm’s range of motion and strength in various positions determining that he could reattach the tendon arthroscopically. He described the surgical process and patiently answered every question. And I had many. I left the office knowing what was ahead of me, grateful that the most conservative approach was possible and confident that if I do my part I will have as good an outcome as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Messer.

Always on time, both Dr. Messer and Therapy. But does charge upfront rather than waiting for insurance payment.

Very Pleased
During my office visit, Dr Messer was friendly, informative, and professional. He explained what is going on with my hands, described the alternatives should the condition progress, and gave me a cortisone shot for my trigger finger. I'm quite happy and relieved to have found him.
