I wish Dr. Kouri could practice forever. It is hard to find a doctor who listens and cares. He is one of them! A rare find, nowadays!

My mother was a patient of Dr Kouri’s by default as he was on call at the time she was admitted many years ago in the hospital. He ultimately got her addicted to narcotics and denied any fault of his own after many pleas to get him to help us. He would prescribe 90 OxyContin at a time without any true diagnosis. She was never required to see him for these refills, Dr Kouri’s wife and nurse helped enable the situation. The laws have since changed re: narcotic prescriptions. My mom died last year.

My mother was a patient of Dr. Kouri's for many years. Although she liked him, my sisters & I tried to get her to change doctors many times. She could only get an appointment every three months, no matter what the problem was. She could call and talk to a nurse and get a prescription without even being seen and diagnosed. She ended up in the hospital at least twice because she wasn't due for her 3 month appointment and had a serious problem each time. Out of space, but there's more.
