I was more happy with a Primary Care Physician than I have been in a long time. He listened intently to what I said, and did not act superior. Sometimes just listening is the most important thing a doctor can do. I know my body and he knows medical care and that was great. I've had doctors who don't listen when I'm trying to tell them where I need help. Dr McElhannan is NOT one of those doctors. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a physician who listens to what you tell him.

Dr. McElhannon has been my doctor for several years. He takes appropriate time to explain things clearly and does not rush you through. Any doctors he has referred me to have also been excellent. He is always pleasant, courteous and respectful...a very fine doctor.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Mc for apx. 20 years. My husband was having serious health problems other doctors could not figure out. Dr. Mc literally saved his life by referring him to the correct specialist! that in itself is more than I could have ever asked for. under his care we have had every sickness and issue addressed correctly and quickly. Not only is he a great doc he is a caring person. I always leave his office smiling no matter how sick I may have been and his staff is A+
