Went there for tonsil stones problems. Accused me of not having any . Like sir I promise you I would not be here if I didn’t have a problem. He was rude and not friendly

No comfort, lots of discomfort and awkward moments the day of surgery after Dr Reich accused me of deliberately asking inappropriate questions and being abrasive with "his" nursing staff. He actually verbally said out loud for nurses, my wife and anyone else within a fifteen or twenty ft radius "you can get shot treating my team like that". For Mr. Reich to believe I was being rude, disrespectful, unreasonable, or irrational to his staff he would have to conclude and agree that a patient should NOT receive pain medicine or any medicine (narcotics or otherwise) that could ease discomfort from pain or even anxiety, before, during, or after surgery. If he does not agree with withholding pain medication or any medication traditionally used for out patient surgery with general anesthetic than he needs to have a heart to heart with the PRE-OP nurse at Carlsbad General Hospital. It was her who explained to me that I would not be receiving any pain medication before, during, or after because

I went in for a checkup after a prolonged nose bleed --everything is and was o.k. However, I also asked for my ears to be de-waxed and when it became obvious the nurse was being trained and was not yet competent I asked for him to return to the room and do it himself. He urged me to have my septic straightened and I got the impression he is very ambitious and more interested in increasing his "business" in various ways than in increasing his skills and in me as a patient.

I am no closer to having an answer for my ear pain, disorientation or nausea. I felt slightly dismissed, Dr. Reich suggested that I go to another Ear Nose and throat specialist who holds the same credentials he does, but is 80 + miles from my home....so I'm at a loss.

I have never in my life been treated more rudely by a physician. Dr. Reich spent less than 5 minutes with me on both the initial and follow-up visits. He interrupted me repeatedly and implied that I was wasting his time when I outlined chronic middle ear problems since childhood. Arrogant and nasty.

I just love Dr. Reich. I have a disease that caused me to have horrible sinus issues. It's called Samter's Triad or AERD (aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease) . I have had 9 surgeries over the years for this. Dr. Reich did 7 of those. He told me I was his worst case patient. I know that was probably true. I know he can seem a little hard around the edges but he is very good and I know he cares. I no longer see him only because he moved out of my area.

It was terrible. He doesn't listen. He dismissed my concerns and blamed my earache on my use of TV Ears. I then went to my PCP who determined my ears are infected. The one star was for the friendliness of his staff.
