Extremely upset with this doctor office and how they handle business with new patients. Especially when the patients you deal with are struggling with memory, pain and a list a mile long of other issues. Must be nice to have so many patients that you get away with treating them like this. I made an appointment like any other office but my issue was with trying to cancel said appointment. They called me a Friday to confirm (Crystal I believe) and at that time I told her that I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make the appointment since we were out of town. We were leaving to come back from 5 hours away on the same day as my appointment which was scheduled for the following Monday at 1pm. She told me that they didn't have an available appointment until July and advised me not to cancel. I told her I would call back Monday morning to cancel if we couldn't make it. At no point during this conversation did she state that if I called back on Monday to cancel that there would be any fees. Fast forward to Monday and we get stuck in traffic on the way hone fron Houston. We would not be back until after the appointment time around Monday at 2pm a the earliest. She then told me there would be a $100 cancelation fee that was explained to me months prior to that when I first made the appointment. They then charged me the fee and refused to refund the money even if I made a new appointment. When I spoke to the Office Manager Helen she told me that this office wasn't for me. They will not refund any money. Stated that they can find the recording from Monday but conveniently can't locate the one from Friday. Without the Friday recording they refused to refund me the money. She did offer to mail my records to my home address after she told me that maybe their office isn't for me. Well .. now I happen to agree. It's convenient to train staff to not get patients to cancel only to charge them $100 if they don't make it. Very unhappy!

Dr. Rennie is great. He explained everything very clearly and gave me plenty of time to ask questions without feeling rushed. In addition to inspiring confidence in his expertise, he is very personable and I appreciate his sense of humor (even if he is a Sooner!).

I love Dr. Rennie! He is such a great doctor and super personable! Every time I have seen him he does a full exam and takes time to talk to me. The staff goes out of their way to help you with things like medication/funding for expensive meds. On a fun note, each of this exam rooms has a theme with pics of his kids, family and hobbies.

I had a horrible experience(s) with Dr and Staff and would never improve... Nurse ... would give one medication regimen ... different from the doctor... then the doctor/ PA would be upset with me... and would have to start it all over again.. MANAGEMENT was HORRIBLE would not throughly check on insurance coverage and their stipulations... then just say... sorry we don’t have enough manpower to do it thoroughly...,You call back and complain... then told medical records would be sent to

I had to put one star but if I could put 0 I would! This “doctor” failed to tell me I had Fibromyalgia and instead told me to seek pain management because he couldn’t treat me. He blew me off. I was finally able to see another rheaumatologist who said she agreed with his findings. And I had to tell the new doctor the above info ( never told I had fibromyalgia ) she was baffled. This doctor should not be practicing. He is untruthful. He omitted something very important. I have been in pain!!!

I've been to him twice now and both times he's dismissive of my conditions and has told me 3X's how I'm not young (I'm 46) and these things are relative to my age. But what he isn't taking into consideration is I've been dealing with these things since my early 30s. I filled out an extensive medical history but it's like he didn't look it over. I had x-rays done and he didn't spend anytime explaining the arthritis he noticed in them; again, he dismissed it.

I saw him for many years, while at BAMC and when he left. I think he just got tired of me as his patient. When I was taken off of one biologic and put on another I had a terrible reaction. My blood work was off the charts and I was very ill. He told me he hoped I had a good dermatologist to help me because there was nothing more he could do. I found another doctor that diagnosed lupus along with PsA and has been wonderful. Sometimes a new doctor can see things with fresh eyes.

He is respectful of his patient's time. He has always been on time, if not early, and yet never rushes you through your time with him. He cares. I have the utmost respect for him and totally place my trust and health in him.
