I needed emergency gallbladder surgery. I have had a few abdominal surgeries previous and he told me he might have to do an open surgery. I was very excited to wake up after surgery to find that I did not have the open surgery. It took Dr Wilder 90 minutes to go through the scar tissue in my stomach and a lot of surgeons will not take the time to so that. They will just do the open surgery. Dr Wilder is very caring and he takes time to answer your questions and listens. I would recommend anyone to see him. Please if you are needed surgery please call his office you will not be displeased.

He is a great surgeon however, his office only cared about money when I needed hernia surgery after an Ostomy reversal and Colon Resection and I ended up getting another doctor because when I booked the appointment for the hernia consult to set up the surgery... months in advance I had no insurance at the time which their office staff knew about....and they did not advise me until I was in there office a week before the surgery would be scheduled and I had time off for work that I needed to come up with $1500 to proceed. I did get insurance and actually pulled it off and got my hernia surgery that next week by the grace of God, however, it was like bait and switch is how I felt because I had been in his care for a year prior to the hernia surgery and really had wanted him to do it as he did Save my Life!

Very easy to talk with. Scheduling was fast and easy. Got the procedure done within 2 days. Very nice man and did a great job!

He was very thorough about what to expect during my surgery. Just had surgery yesterday and I feel great. Kept my family updated on how everything was going and came out when he was done to give a report.
