Dr. Timothy Bassett, MD

Dr. Bassett was just the Doctor i needed. I was lucky Dr. Bassett was the Doctor on call that day at Northport DCH. I was in an accident that caused me to have a broken hip. Dr. Bassett explained to me how he would fix it. He pinned the bones back together. Its now been 2 years since the surgery and i could not have expected a better outcome. Also, there is a Therapy company next door that also does a great job helping you rehab after surgery. Very friendly staff too! Everything worked out and im happy with the treatment i received.

I saw Dr. Bassett for my back and he took the time to explain in detail the problem I had and how to fix it. He was honest about the recovery time and what to expect afterwards.

Staff and physician very nice and reassuring. The exam and treatment received was spot on. Dr. Bassett took his time examining me and reviewing xrays and reports. Covered all treatment options and projected outcome.

Dr. Bassett is heaven sent. He did back and neck surgery on multiple people in my family including myself. I have nothing but respect for this man. Getting an appointment took some time but well worth the wait. I’d recommend him to anyone. Thank you dr Bassett

Fantastic doctor! He really took his time to explain my problem and he gave me a range of treatment options that could help. I ended up having surgery and it was the best decision I have ever made. Also he is easy on the eyes!

Just don't go and if you do or are forced to by an insurance company demand a second opinion or just refuse going.

I have nothing but praise for this physician. I am 73 years old, fell with multiple bumps and bruises and a broken bone in my hand that had punctured the skin in my palm. He came cleaned and sewed me up and left me with full confidence that I had been served by confident, competent, doctor.Tuscaloosa is fortunate to have this guy.

Waited for 3hrs and I had allll my paperwork done... only to see him 10 min tops! Wouldn’t listen.. interrupted all the time! Made me as a patient feel like what was going on was just in my head! Seemed like because nothing jumped out immediately as a o that is the problem. I was wrote off. Maybe he was tired and ready to go home! I have no idea.

Phenomenal doctor with great bedside manner and wealth of knowledge and experience. Any negative reviews on here are preposterous!! He takes his time with his patients, explaining, in great detail, what and why there is a problem and what he can do to help. I have been to him twice now and both times he's helped me tremendously.He wont give you meds you dont need and he only does surgery IF it will help you improve. THE BEST!!
