I have seriously have PTSSfrom this and cry alot.
My son and I went to see him as a follow up after my R upper lobectomy, he was so kind and explained everything very well .We both thought he was great and put our minds at rest. He was going to send my tumor or piece of it to get a biomarkers test and would call us in a week to 10 days.Well 3 weeks went by and I called his office they never called me back. This happened 3 xs the 4th time I called which was about a month out from initial visit I talked with quality management. A nurse finally called me back , but didn't know anything about me or my visit. Dr. Gillison also wanted me to see a ENT Dr. I did get an appointment with one in about 2 days . I heard back one more time from a different nurse she said Dr had to have emergency surgery that weekend which was now about 6 weeks from 1st visit. The nurse left me a message in it she stated I was not a priority. Well that's for dang sure! As a nurse my self you should never tell a patient they are not a priority. No one reccd my tum

I saw Timothy in his office for a check up. He was angry because I asked to receive a medication. He stated it was my fault I could not receive it. How much compassion should one expect from an oncologist? None I guess.

Dr. Timothy Gillison is one of the most unprofessional, uncaring physicians that practices medicine. This doctor misdiagnosed and mistreated a family member while he was treating her. He also decided on his own to discontinue treatment and as a result my family member was at exactly the same spot at she was four years ago at the beginning of her treatment. He also neglected to tell her about a mass that was present on her spine which resulted in a horrendous surgery that could have been avoided.

I've been a patient of Dr. Gillison's for 5 years and he has always treated me as though I am his only patient. His office sends reminders if I don't get my blood drawn in a timely manner. His staff has always been accommodating. I now live 4 hours away and make the drive to his office. It's worth the drive to be treated by someone who cares.

He wants patient see the nurse practitioner for genetic counseling. He does not want to see the patient. He wants nurse practitioner doing all the work. What a lazy doctor.
