My experience with this doctor has been abysmal. My first appointment was by referral from my PCP. I was called the day of, 1 hour before my appointment to be rescheduled. This was fine, doctors get sick. However, when I arrived for my rescheduled appointment, I never actually got to meet the doctor; one of the nurses and I met and had a lovely conversation. The nurse suggested I have a procedure done and some tests. My scheduled appointment was re-scheduled twice due to CoViD, this is fine as well, but I was then scheduled with another physician who is not in my network and comes with an exorbitant co-pay. I have not ever met Dr. Timothy Smith but I have gotten letters from him/his office saying he and I have "discussed" certain topics. On top of that, the nurses who dealt with the scheduling seemed petulant and rather unhelpful when I asked questions about certain tests and where/how to get them done. This operation leaves a very poor impression for Lahey Health and its associates.
