Dr. Todd Igel, MD

I am 4 years past my prostate removal and am very very happy with the outcome. My operation via robotic surgery could not have gone better even though it was much more difficult that most others. My prostate was 3 times normal and attached to my bladder and intestines. Dr Igel worked very slowly and carefully over 5 1.5 hours to remove it without doing any damage. The next morning I went home and the outcome has been perfect. I don't leak from my bladder at all and never had any bowel issues. Yes, sexual activity came back too... My PSA has been undetectable for 4 years now. The larger prostate had caused many other issues because of it pressuring other organs. All I can say is that now I feel like I did when I was 18... I credit it all to Dr Igel's surgical ability Thank you Dr Igel !!!

Dr. Igel is an amazing doctor. He never made me feel rushed. After I was asking a lot of questions, he sat back in his chair and said, "I'm here for you, ask me everything". He explained exactly what he was going to do while displaying the MRI image. He tailored the procedure for my case, and I'm healing quickly. I cannot thank Dr. Igel enough for getting my life back.

he did my surgery in 2006 and saved my life...i was only 46 yrs old then with psa of 55.. 5 plus 4 on the gleason score...and positive bladder margin..iam still doing great after going thru surgery , chemo and radiation and i thank his surgical skills for the job well done
