Condescending and Incompetent
Dr. Pierce treated me like I was an idiot and inconvenient to her from day 1. I went for an annual visit and to discus TTC. I was using an OPK and found that I was having short luteal phases and irregular cycles. I attributed this to coming off the pill, but Dr. Pierce told me in a condescending tone that the pill did not cause irregularities. I went back to her again for another appointment due to continued cycle irregularities, and had bloodwork and an endometrial biopsy done. She still could not tell me what was wrong. Another doctor saw the issue with taking 10 minutes to look at my bloodwork. Dr. Pierce is the most rude and incompetent doctor I have ever dealt with. Do not waste your time with her.

I got admitted on a Saturday to the hospital for child birth. Dr Pierce office did not send my records ( showing I had no need for antibiotics to be administered during childbirth) to the hospital because it was a Saturday. So the hospital in absence of records started antibiotics on me unnecessarily. Also since I did not get the required dilation Dr Pierce put me on a very high dose of inducing agent which led to stress reading on my baby’s chart ! And despite repeated calls she was hard to get to when I was getting induced and laid up in the hospital. She also did unnecessary genetic screening costing me upwards of 200$ in co pay during pregnancy.

Dr. Pierce delivered all three of my babies. With my first I believe her practice was still in its early days so my experience with her was a positive one. Her bedside manner is ok, she's very honest and direct so I think some women won't like that. I appreciated that, rather than someone sugarcoating it. With my third, it was obvious that her practice had outgrown her ability to maintain a personal relationship with her patients. I saw her maybe 5 times and the rest of the appointments were with the nurser practitioner Ms. Robinson, who is a sweet & attentive lady. On the day of delivery, everything felt transactional, she showed up right when I was about to start pushing, delivered the baby, and didn't see her again. Ms. Robinson was the one that came to check on me the next day. I just feel the personal component was missing and that's a bummer. However, if you want someone experienced, and that respects your birth plan. I'd recommend her.

Dr. Pierce is horrible! The whole office is unprofessional and lacks customer service skills. The only way I can describe the ambience in the office is like a government ran mail center. Slow, Snarky looks/Attitudes. The physician is incredibly condensing towards patients when you ask her a question about treatment, medications or plan of care. Geez if you dislike your job so much take vacation or find a different line of work. No one deserves lousy responses to questions about Their health. I wasn't even aggressive with my tone of voice the whole time I spoke to her (less than 5 minutes). Little did this doctor and her office know our medical background. I would Never EVER treat any of my patient's they way she, receptionists, MA treated my guest or I. I dodged a bomb not a bullet by deciding not to be under Dr. Pierce's care. She lost a patient (s) just for her uncalled for attitude. . . Please reconsider having this doctor treat you or someone you care about.

a patient here and I like Dr. Pierce well enough in person however I called because I thought I may be leaking amniotic fluid and instead of taking care of it in office? They referred me to the hospital instead. An OB can’t take care of a pregnancy related issue but a hospital can? Dr. Pierce and her staff know me and have overseen my pregnancy now through week 33. How can some doctor at a hospital possibly care more about me and my baby than my own OB? (My insurance through the state of TX will not cover hospital visits outside of the actual delivery and seeing my own doctor. If this weren’t the case I’d be less upset about being referred to another doctor.)

Dr. Pierce is WONDERFUL! I have been searching for a Gynecologist since 2007 with disappointing results until I met Dr. Pierce. She is always very aware of current medical research and medications, as well as everything else I bring up! She is kind, compassionate and spends as much time as you need with her! I very highly recommend her! She is the best!!

Horrible bed side manner. Dr. Makes you feel stupid for expressing concern or asking questions. Long story short. She perform a surgery on me in July. I am now having horrible pain in the area. She blew me off at my follow up appointment when I brought it up. I went for a 2nd option and I have a hernia from the surgery and need a correction surgery from where she tied off my uterus. So two things need to be corrected now. And Now have to have another surgery ??. Beware going here. Not only tha

Not personable, when you have to have a possible life altering procedure you would think a little more compassion would be given. She was completely rude to us and used fear tactics. When opted out of the epidural with the anesthesiologist she comes in the room and slams the curtains back and says I see you opted out of the epidural you understand I’m going to make you walk and feel everything after surgery. I expected pain but I didn’t want something so why get mad at me for it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pierce for 8 years, and she is the most personable MD I have ever met. She keeps her patients informed, is professional, and is easy to talk to. I moved to the East Coast and I still have Dr. Pierce as my OBGYN. She is the best out there! I absolutely love her!
