Dr. Tracy Ragland, MD

I recently had a significant health event. I sought out a primary care doctor and learned the first appt available was February 2025. I then pursued locating a Private or Direct Doctor. I emailed Dr. Ragland’s office and she personally emailed me back. That lead to a telephone call for her to learn about my issues. I had already explored her excellent experience, but I never expected the direct communication and attention to my issues she provided me. She got me in to see her very quickly, no wait for weeks let alone months. During our appt. she understood my medical concerns, reviewed my records, and provided me with a logical path forward. She and Tony are compassionate, professional and their expertise exceeded my expectations. I found a great collaborative care giver in Dr. Ragland and Tony Clark. I couldn’t be happier. I recommend them highly.

I love Dr. Ragland. What I thought was a muscle cramp turned out to be a blood clot. She recognized that right away and got me the care I needed. She talks with me as a patient and not down to me or at me. So why the 1 star rating? Her male nurse is an jerk. He is rude, he belittles you, he is condescending, snarky and nasty. He was the reason I left. I called today because I want to come back but not if she had the same rude nurse. With no questions asked they said yes she does.

Dr. Tracy listens well and makes me feel more comfortable than I do with doctors. She doesn't push her way, but she makes her suggestions clear with explanations. I feel valued as a person when talking with her about my health issues. She explains procedures well with details. She takes time with her patients, and in this day, that speaks volumes. I never feel rushed like she has to move quickly for he next patient. I am thankful for the referral from Dr. Rebecca McFarland (cardiologist).
