Dr. Umbar Ghaffar, MD

I’m writing this review on behalf of someone very dear to me. Dr. Ghaffar has repeatedly failed to properly treat his kidney disease for months now. She’s completely overlooked his other conditions that effect his renal health, she’s put him on medications that have actively worsened his condition, and now the cherry on top is her dropping him for noncompliance. That noncompliance you ask? His potassium levels spiked for ONE DAY (which leveled out within almost 24 hours) and when he said he couldn’t immediately see her due to lack of transportation, she dropped him. I try to remain cordial and couth in my review of this medical “professional”, but frankly I wouldn’t even recommend her for veterinary care. Protect your family and yourself, find a more compassionate nephrologist who cares about your healing and comfortability.
