Will Not Recommend
She reduced my estrogen, eventually stopping it. I went to another gynecologist who indicated that should not have been done and I am back on estrogen. This will also help reduce my hair loss. I do not recommend this obgyn.

Great at what she does
Been seeing Dr Lasry for over 15 years. In high school, through the pregnancy of my son and beyond. She has also been so wonderful. She listens to my needs and provides the best care.

Dr. Valerie Lasry
I secured Dr. Valerie Lasry with Tidelands OBGYN as my physician to remove a very large cyst from my ovary. She scheduled me for an appointment and bloodwork.Dr. Lasry explained all the tests required prior to the surgery and directed her staff to promptly schedule them.I arrived at the hospital the morning of the outpatient procedure and was pleasantly greeted by the extremely kind and efficient staff. Dr. Lasry spoke to me before the surgery and made me feel extremely comfortable. She was beyond professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I would highly recommend her as an OBGYN. Entrusting my care to Dr. Lasry was without a doubt the best decision and one for which I am beyond grateful.

So rude !
Just like the other reviewers said— very rude and condescending. She has zero bedside manner. Not sure why she picked this profession- go work from home so you don’t have to interact with people. I tell everyone I know to avoid this dr and this practice.

First appointment, and I'm glad I found Dr. Lasry
I now live about half the year in Myrtle Beach and need to find doctors in the area. I had a sudden need for an Ob/Gyn. Dr. Lasry is on my medical plan and could fit me in quickly. The nurse doing the intake of personal history and current medicines was very helpful, not rushed, and made sure she understood what I was trying to explain when I couldn't remember medical terms. I was very impressed with Dr. Lasry's exam thoroughness. I am confident that the plan she outlined for further exploration is a good one.

Dr. Lasry has been my doctor for almost a decade. From annual wellness exams, to the birth of my two children she has been with me. I love the fact she works in a practice of all women. Her compassion really set her apart. I can not recommend her enough!

Went to Carolina OBGYN for a ROUTINE yearly. Was told I would not need to pay a copay for this visit because of that reason. Of course, 2 days later, I get a bill in the mail for $25. I called up there and was told that Dr. Lasry re-coded the visit to where it was no longer routine and I had to pay them $25. The lady in billing that I spoke to was incredibly rude when I told her to cancel all future appointments of mine and she said "Everyone out there is going to do the same!" Also, I strictly requested NO UNNECESSARY tests or procedures and what happened? I got yet ANOTHER bill in the mail for $165 for an ultrasound that she said that I needed. Isn't this why I pay over $400 a month in health insurance? To avoid excess medical bills like this? This is just ridiculous and the VERY reason I no longer trust doctors or hospitals! Dear Doctor, you need to remember the oath that you took while in medical school! You are causing HARM! Stress from financial hardship IS harm!

My previous OB/GYN Dr. had retired and I needed a new one. My daughter uses this office so I thought I would give it a try. I am glad I did. Dr. Lasry is fabulous! She puts you at ease at one of the most dreaded of appointments. She took her time to answer any and all questions I had and scheduled all of my appointments needed for my mammogram and bone density test right in the same building. She really seems to really care about her patients. She is definitely going to be my doctor from here on

She delivered 3 of my children and always took the time to listen to my concerns. Her nurse is kind and attentive. I have been a patient of dr Lasry’s for 10+ years and appreciative of the care I receive

Dr. Lasry has very poor bedside manner. She is very condescending attitude and does not take the time to ask about your health history or concerns. It took 45 minutes for her to finally step into my patient room. I find it appalling that the she managed to offend me in the 5 minutes she spent with me! She has no care of your health or well being. I drove home in tears. Stay as far away as possible from this doctor!

I saw Dr. Lazry was apalled at her leaving the exam room while I was undressed and on the exam table to take a personal phone call. This is the rudest thing I have ever seen not to mention the osbscene loud phone ring. Very unprofessional !

Dr. Lasry took care of my last two pregnancies. I had a terrible experience with a different practice after I lost my baby during my 1st pregnancy. I feel that because of her I now have two healthy children. I have also had a history of abnormal paps that she continues to follow. Highly recommended!
