I needed to chose a new doctor after my neurologist retired, and I chose Dr.Poukas because she had the best reviews. I've seen Dr.Poukas a handful of times since then and I can say, those reviews were an understatement! She is so clearly knowledgeable and if there is something she does not know (because lets face it, epilepsy is not really an exact science), she will do extensive research to help you out. She's so friendly- I hate talking about my epilepsy, but with her it feels like I am just having a casual conversation. She listens to my concerns and my questions. I've never felt rushed or dismissed in her office. She is a doctor that realizes the patient comes first!!! I can't recommend her enough!
