Dr. Vicente Mendez, MD

I was abandoned by Dr. Mendez with no notice and no explanation following several years of a seemingly good rapport and care. I only received notice of this abandonment when I showed up for an appointment that I had had for two months that Dr. Mendez had (arbitrarily) decided he would no longer treat me to include that very appointment and I was sent away. I was told that a voicemail notifying me of this was left the day before. When inquired as to why he did that, I was given only vague information and outright fabrications of “multiple no shows” which did not exist (or were few if at all) as I’m good about keeping appointments and being punctual. I had been treated poorly by Dr Mendez’ recent staff in the recent couple of months when calling in to office, leaving messages which were never returned often leaving me without needed medications (NOT opioids or pain medications!) for weeks and can only assume his patient abandonment

Dr. Mendez and his nurses are the best! Very caring and never makes you feel rushed.

After being with the office less than 3 mos. they were taken over and will not refill my much needed medication until I see the doctor again. That was not the policy before!! I am hundreds of miles away. Their solution just stop your medication!!!!!

New to the area. I read reviews and chose Dr. Mendez. I am so happy I did. Everyone was caring and I never felt rushed. The wait time was short in the lobby and the room.

My wife and I have been Dr Vicente Mendez’s patients for the last seven years, He is our family doctor. He serves us very carefully and he made us aware of how we should manage our health. He is always happy and take care of any health condition we could have. He gives us advice on how to keep ourselves healthy recommending us to have a healthy diet and exercise. NOMC and Crestview are extremely fortunate to have this highly skilled physician.

Dr. Mendez is a caring doctor. Dr. Mendez never makes me feel as though I am being rushed or that what I am concerned about with my health is not relevant matter. He always takes the time to discuss and explain things to me and make sure I fully understand my conditions and treatments for them. Dr. Mendez also make sure that not only is my physical health okay but my mental health as well. Over all Dr. Mendez is an overall well rounded doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Mendez now for a year or so. I came to him after a bad experience with another Dr. Dr. Mendez saved my life, I truly believe that. EVERYTIME I have gone to see him he calls me by name, He remembers conversations from our last appointments, and he ALWAYS asks about my family and shows genuine interest. I have recommended him to many people because he is the best Dr. in our area, and I will never go anywhere else! And he has the best staff ever! They are the best of the best

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Mendez for four years and have found him to be through and professional. His staff have also been accommodating and pleasant. Our requests are always taken care of in a timely manner. We are relocating to Nevada, so our goodbyes were bitter sweet.
