Dr Desai examined my eyes very thoroughly. He carefully described the condition of my eyes and made recommendations for further treatment. He was very friendly and professional.

Having had retina problems in the past I need to be checked a couple times a year. Dr. Desai put my mind at ease that my eyes are healthy and strong. He is also very open to listening to my questions and answering them. I don't feel rushed. I can call the office anytime I am worried about my eyes. The Retina Group of Washington is there when I need them. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes I may have to wait but to have the peace of mind that my eyes are safe is worth it.

I was extremely fortunate to have Dr. Desai as my retina and vitreous surgeon when I started developing a vitreous detachment that eventually developed into a nasty macular hole. During this stressful time, Dr. Desai was always professional and courteous, his approach conservative. He took his time and patiently answered all of my questions during every visit. He was deliberate and meticulous during every examination. He clearly explained my options and potential results. He was always realistic about setting my expectations. During the vitrectomy, Dr. Desai was intensely yet calmly focused. I followed his recovery instructions and now enjoy excellent vision in that eye. I am forever grateful to him. I can’t recommend him strongly enough.

Great care given bu all of the staff.. I suffer from profound hearing loss and everyone was very patient and understanding throughout mu entire visit, Dr. Desai is the consummate professional. He takes his time and always gives a very thorough exam. What an excellent physician!

Superb care. I am a retired doctor who has been a medical director at the county, state, and medical system level as well as a practitioner. I have been continually impressed by Dr. Desai's thoughtful, personable and precise approach. He is responsible also for a seamless process from intake to discharge, carried out in a courteous, patient centered manner in a calm, safe atmosphere. This is especially necessary in the age of COVID.

Intelligent doctor but horrible time management, bedside manner and overall rudeness. My dad's been seeing him for years and almost every appointment we've had to wait over 2 hours. The last appointment was our last straw. My dad recently had a stroke leaving him permanently disabled; he's wheelchair bound, epileptic, incontinent, mentally not there and diabetic. He was also in pain from having surgery by Dr. Desai the day prior. We had to wait SO long to be seen by Dr. Desai for the post op appointment. My dad was crying in the waiting room for hours telling me he wanted to go home. Only when I told the staff we had enough and will be going home, then we were ushered back and saw Dr. Desai within a minute. He then gives the same lame half excuse and apology (if you even get an apology). The lack of respect for his patients time and other medical conditions is astonishing. Even when he's with my dad he's rushing to get to the next patient. We are done with him.

Dr. Desai was great. The staff was great. I feel I got a thorough exam and was cared for as I should be. One negative was that I felt the doctor was rushing. As soon as he did what he felt he should do, he was chomping at the bit to move onto the next patient. In spite of that, I will continue to use Dr. Desai and all in all, it was a good experience.

I have been seeing Dr Desai for almost 4 years. With his treatment and taking my Areds 2 daily, I have not had to have an injection for almost 2 years. Dr Desai is so gentle, patient and caring that he made getting the injections much less terrifying.

The overall experience was not the one I expected. From check in to check out. The staffs are unfriendly. I have waited 45 minutes to be seen and I had to ask how many more minutes before I can be seen. The doctor seemed overconfident and had to google a diagnosis.
