Dr Novak gave excellent instructions on cause of my trigger fingers and all treatment options. I am very pleased with his care.

Excellent Repair of Shattered Wrist
On 10/30/2013 while doing maintenance work, I fell from a ladder onto a sidewalk and totally shattered my left wrist, it was a compound fracture. I was taken to the ER at Tri-Star Hospital in Hermitage. Dr. Novak was the surgeon that operated on me that day and he did an amazing repair! I told him I was a musician/guitar player and really needed the complete use of my left hand. He operated using a titanium plate and screws for the repairs. After the healing process, I have complete and total use of my left hand as if nothing ever happened! I was absolutely pleased and rather amazed that it went so well. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Novak and his staff and highly recommend them. They are excellent indeed!! Thank you again Dr Novak!!

AMAZING doctor!!
I broke my wrist 4/3/22.Met up with Dr. Novak the following Wednesday. He informed me that he only provided surgeries on Mondays. Expected to schedule it for the following Monday, but Dr. Novak personally called me himself at 7:30 Wednesday night after our consult. He made a special trip to Franklin that very next day and provided my surgery. He is just awesome, as is his staff, particularly Mary <3

I wanted to come back after 7 years and thank Dr. Novak for repairing my bilateral quadriceps tendon ruptures from an accident. It was a rough road to recovery, and learning to walk again, he he did a beautiful job. I have very little pain now considering what happened. He is a gifted surgeon who cares about his patients. I just wanted you to know Dr. Novak, I haven't forgot what you did for me. Thank you

I went to Dr Novak after locating him on the internet. I have three broken fingers from an auto accident and had seen two other doctors without any type of satisfaction. I was very pleased with Dr Novak. I actually saw him and not an assistant. Yay! He took time and explained everything to me. I was his last patient of the day but he was in no rush to leave. He provided me with options. Whereas the other doctors had no advice. I would highly recommend this doctor.

One of the most positive experience I have had with a doctor since moving to Nashville 15 years ago. Dr. Novak gave full attention to my problem and did not appear to want to rush on to the next patient.

I have called and called and called Dr. Novak's office. I have called and called and called Vanderbilt's Patient Relationship department and no one will pick up the phone. I have had eleven phone operators and only one have been helpful. I am suppose to have carpal tunnel surgery and elbow surgery withe Dr. Novak. This is a very very poorly organized operation. I am so sorry to have to leave such a negative review on such a nice Dr. I had high hopes of Dr. Novak doing my surgery.

Dr. Novak performed hand surgery for me May 2015. He corrected all the problems. He treated me with kindness. Some of my issues were old ones that took a lot of expertise to correct. I would highly recommend Dr. Novak for any hand issues one might have.
