Dr. Bhavnani was recommend by a friend for cataract removal and I am very pleased with my overall experience. I had seen a big clinic Dr in the area and felt great pressure to upgrade to expensive lens implants. Dr. B only offers standard lenses which are giving me excellent vision. His conservative approach in evaluation and follow up after surgery provided a smooth recovery. I will highly recommend him in the future.

Over the past 3 years, I have had surgery for both a long standing glaucoma issue and later surgery for cataracts. In all, I've had 3 types of procedures, Iridotomy for Glaucoma, Cataract surgery and then a Yag Laser Capsulotomy follow up in each eye about 1 year after my Cataract surgeries. Each time, Dr Bhavnani thoroughly explained the procedure and why it was to be done. And each time, the surgery went very well and today my vision is so much better then 3 years ago allowing to once again drive and enjoy my work and activities. Dr Bhavnani's staff is equally as good and treat all patients with the utmost care and compassion. I would highly recommend this practice.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bhavnani since 2015. My Macular Degeneration specialist recommended him to me for Glaucoma & Cataract care. In 2017 he performed SLT surgery in both eyes and after a careful period of time we decided to do Cataract with drainage device in 2024. I felt confident in his advice along the way. I had a Yag laser treatment done this week and it was very succesfull. It was a two minute procedsure,with no side effects. I'm very pleased with him and his staff.

Dr. Bhavnani of Glaucoma and Cataract Eye Institute was recommended to me by my Naples ophtalmologist after he had diagnosed me with glaucoma and developing cataract eyesight degradation in 2017. Since then, I have seen him many times and have only praise for his care, professionalism and his staff. In particular, I like his thoughtful and, as some might say, a bit conservative approach to my treatment. Both glaucoma and cataract may eventually require eye surgery, but it should not be a starting point of treatment. He proposed to put off the cataract surgery for now and focus on getting my progressing glaucoma stabilized. He told me: 'You yourself will recognize and tell me when you really need the cataract surgery done'. After many years of daily use of eyedrops and two laser treatments, my glaucoma seems stable and I do not even use any eyedrops anymore. Recently, as he predicted, I recognized the need for cataract surgery and had it done to my full satisfaction.

Dr Bhavnani has been my glaucoma specialist for over a dozen years. When I was referred to his care I arrived with severe retinal deterioration. Dr. Bhavnani's calm manner and clear explanation of my condition, treatment goals, and the methods to minimize vision loss have proved fruitful. Even with my occasional setbacks (including necessitating several surgeries), Dr. Bhavnani and his wonderful staff have stabilized my vision. I couldn't have a doctor that I trust more with my precious sight.

Was treated professionally; excellent diagnosis, treatment and follow up

Dr. Bhavnani has been treating me for about 7 years to manage my glaucoma and monitor cataracts in both of my eyes. He has done a great job of managing my glaucoma through medication (Lumigan drops), quarterly pressure testing, and annual testing with dilation. He has monitored my weakening vision due to the cataracts, and in January of this year (2023), I decided to proceed with cataract surgery in both eyes. He did a fantastic job on the surgery. I can see way better now than prior to the surgery. I would heartily recommend Dr. Bhavnani to anyone who is need of an opthamologist. He is knowledgeable, professional and exhibits a wonderful "bedside" manner. He is the sole provider in his practice and he employs a highly skilled and efficient staff in the office. Unlike big "box store" multi-provider practices, I know that I can call his office anytime during business hours and speak with a real person to help me with what I need. Thank you Dr. Bhavnani!!

Dr Bhavnani performed Cataract Surgery on both my eyes recently and the experience was amazing. He is extremely thorough and professional in his approach to explaining the procedure. I have been of patient of Dr. Bhavnani for over 4 years and have always felt well cared for. He takes time to communicate. His staff is competent, cheerful and caring. My recent YAG procedure cemented by opinion. I rate him and his staff highly.

Dr. Bhavnani is a very intelligent, well educated eyecare specialist. He has a great staff and modern equipment. Office facilities are clean and well maintained. My only complaint is he consistently overbooks appointments. Out of the 6 times I have had an appointment I have had to sit in the waiting area for over an hour before being seen. An occasional emergency may cause a delay but this is totally unacceptable.

Since junior high school I've worn glasses or contacts for distance. I am now on medicare. My close up vision has always been excellent even as cataracts developed. Then night driving became annoying so Dr.Bhavnani replaced lenses in both eyes a year ago. He knew my concern with loosing my excellent near vision so he correctly chose the right lenses to insert. His caution both pre and post surgery and his understanding of my concerns has resulted in excellent results. Oh, I still use glasses for driving but around the house and working in my shop I often forget to put them on. That never happened before. I highly recommend Dr. Bhavnani should anyone need cataract or glaucoma care.
