I have been trying to find a new ob/gyn and hoped Cleveland Clinic would have someone top notch, but I found her very cold.

If I could have given a zero, I would have.
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Connor. Her bedside manner is poor. I highly do not recommend her.

I went to Dr. Connor in early 2020 because I strongly suspected I had endometriosis and my previous OBGYN didn't believe me. I wanted a second opinion. She met with me, did my pelvic exam, and after I spoke with her about my symptoms, she said she would personally do a vaginal ultrasound to check because she had "special ways" of seeing endo on an ultrasound (btw, that is impossible). She did the ultrasound and then told me nothing was wrong, there was no reason to be worried. All after I had given her a 2-page list of my symptoms, including excruciating pain throughout my cycle. I went to an endometriosis specialist a few months later after mentally recovering from another doctor telling me I was "fine". I had excision endometriosis surgery in Dec 2020 where I was confirmed to have endometriosis, adenomyosis, dysmenorrhea, fibrosis, colon lesions, and fimbrial adhesions, all requiring extensive, major surgery, including several resections (including a colon resection, which is NOT co

Doctor Connor stepped in to cover for my doctor - last appt of the day. I was not informed by the clinic that there would be a switch, but I was ok with it as I had never met the other doctor either. She was clearly frustrated by having to cover for the other doctor, unless rushing everything, talking over me, and not taking a medical history is standard procedure for her. HOWEVER, my two real problems with Dr. C are 1. She shoved the speculum up inside me so hard and fast that it actually cut my cervix so badly, I bled heavily from the wounds for 7 days (wounds were nonchalantly observed by doctor 2 but that's another story) and 2. I had a severe burn on my breast that had blistered with a bandaid on it. Apparently, it had slipped off (when I went to get dressed it was gone and my bra was stained) and there was a large, weeping wound fully exposed on my breast. Dr. C gave me a fast breast exam during my time with her. She did not mention the wound. Shoddy, selfish, irresponsible.

I’ve never had such a horrible experience. I went to her because I thought I had endo. My 1st appt I brought up my concerns she said I was just ovulating and that I was too young to have endo (which is bs minors can have endo). 2nd appt does an internal exam it hurt so bad I tell her, she says it’s my birth control and refuses to test me for endo because she has a meeting at 12:30. 3rd appt.does internal exam hurt again,I tell her just says it’s bc I have a new partner. Guess what I have endo!

I never write negative reviews but thought this was important to share to prevent others from receiving the same treatment. After a questionable mammogram result, I did not receive a call from Dr. Connor as requested to explain the results. The followup mammogram tests were TWO WEEKS AWAY. The UNDUE STRESS this caused is callous. Dr. Connor did nothing to arrange for earlier tests. Cleveland Clinic is short staffed and unequipped for mammograms . AVOID!!!

Do not go to her if you want someone who cares. She clearly doesn’t. I was a new patient and she spent zero time getting to know my medical history which is significant. Answered her cell phone in the middle of my appointment just to say “I’ll have to call you back.” After my breast exam she jiggled my fat and told me it would help to lose some, true but totally inappropriate! I also asked about my mental health and she just sighs says “it’s hard but it’ll get better.” Appointment over.

My concerns were not handled at all. Once she has formed her idea of what is going on there's nothing you can say to change her mind as it's not by the book of what she knows. She does not have bedside manners as to how to approach sensitive topics. I selected this particular doctor because she has experiences at the growing concerns that I have. I will be going back in six months to see her..... six months more to add to my growing concerns. Not a satisfied patient at this point.

I was disappointed. She is not a friendly person. She did not speak. to me. I would not recommend her. Lack of compassion in medicine. Looks like she's not interested to take care of the patience.
