Cold and distant
Impossible to get information out of. According to my adolescent daughter, he asks the same questions over and over again. After four days of treatment, he hasn’t made a move to modify or alter her medications… even though he commented to a social worker that the medication she was on was most likely contributing to her illness, reason for hospitalization.

He is rude and dismissive to patients as well as his staff. staff even expressed that he is often cold to patients and showed disdain for him.

Does not communicate with parents of minors at all. Rude and gives unprofessional responses. Was asked by a minor "When am I going home". Dr. Trask's response was "those who ask when they're going home stay longer and those who don't ask leave sooner". Makes patients feel worse that what they did when they arrive. Which in turn causes them to shut down not wanting to engage/respond. Really seems like a tactic to lengthen the stay of patients to continuously bill insurance. Not a genuine attempt to help these individuals.
