He let me die
Went to him needing help. Long story short got a loan on my car and then he raised the price out of my ability to get. I had already got the loan so I'm screwed. Going to lose my car too. Trusted him and now I get to die. Been starving for months, have lost almost 100 pounds. Hopefully I will die soon.

Best bedside manner and amazing care
Dr. Lichliter's demeanor is so kind, caring and concerned. His bedside manner is the best I've ever experienced. He treated my father years ago when he was diagnosed with colon cancer at 55, he lived to 92 with no recurrence. I've had several procedures and all went well. He sent me out with a little drawing, so I understood the issues and procedure. I've had several colonoscopies, and all went well. I only wish all doctors were as kind and caring as Dr. Lichliter. My entire family sees him due to family history, can't recommend another doctor as highly as Dr. Lichliter.

I have been seeing Dr. Lichliter since 1994. I have had a few surgeries done by him. Whether at bedside or in his office, alone or someone with me, I have always been referred to in the third person. At my last appointment he talked down about, not to me, to my daughter who had gone with me and a student observing. I was told he didn't care what the circumstances were he didn't want to see me again unless it was in the emergency room. I have not been back. I too, have been given week, lame excuses for getting my medical records released to me. Unless things have changed since I was last there, plan on being there an extended period of time. The wait is horrendous - even if you schedule your appointment as the first one of the morning or the first one after lunch. I have never had less than a 50 minute wait.

After my colon cancer diagnosis my "team" consisted of Radiologist (Dr. Cheeks); Oncologist (Dr. McCollum) and Surgeon (Dr. Lichliter). These 3 are IMO, the best of the BEST. Had weekly, bi -weekly, monthly meetings with McCollum and Lichliter. Always PROFESSIONAL, caring, answered questions. Supportive, kind. Highly Highly Highly recommend.

Major problems with medical records wouldn't give me an appointment said medical records not received certain they were sent several weeks prior didn't seem to care that I was in extreme pain and bleeding many messages left no one returned our calls until 6 months passed and my husband intervened. Was very fine doctor but I wouldn't go back I've been referred elsewhere then wouldn't send my records until I sign another release first one was still good tired of being put off and flimsy excuses
