Dr. Wendellenna Mays, MD

I’ve been really pleased with Dr. Mays and her PA Kelly. They have both diagnosed some uncommon problems with me and found the appropriate solutions. I highly recommend this team.

Have been her patient for 9 years and trust her completely. She is thorough, listens to patients and takes her time (not bound by insurance time limitations). I have multiple health issues and she is a better diagnostician than most specialists. She keeps herself informed on latest advances and if she doesn’t know, she’ll tell you and will research to find an answer. Keeps strict standards on her staff, but very kind. They will go the extra mile for patients and it’s worth a wait at times.

Been going to Dr Mays for over 6 years, She is great and so is her staff. She always spends time with you and listens to you!! I Do recommend Dr Mays!!

Dr. Mays and her Nurse Practitioner Kelly are absolutely fabulous! They never rush you, and you always have their full attention during an office visit. In my experience the office usually does run a little behind, but I'm normally in and out within an hour. Given the attention to detail and quality care I receive I consider the wait a very small price to pay. Bottom Line: Individualized quality care takes time. Dr. Mays is one of the top physicians in Central Florida. See for yourself.

I was a patient for about a year...never once saw Dr. Mays....or any doctor. She had a PA doing her work and she decreased my meds telling me that I was "too young" to be on "all of those meds" what an idiot. I have serious health conditions and she decreased my meds. My next doc doubled what she was giving me and problem solved. Their office is luck I did not take action. They were NEVER on time, not even close...no same day appointments even for established patients they send you to ER!

I like Dr Mays as a doctor and am sad to have to leave. I have had two appointments canceled in the last two months with less than 5 hours notice and the next possible appointment would be in two weeks but not even with Dr Mays. When I tried to explain to the office staff how it is not acceptable to give only a few hours notice when people have to take time off work (given a day's notice I could cancel the day off), staff seemed smug and did not care about this at all. I will be going elsewhere.

Never makes you feel rushed. She is always caring, compassionate and willing to listen. Best doctor I have ever had!!!

Dr. Mays is, hands down, the BEST PCP I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She's kind, knowledgeable in her Medical field and will refer you wherever she feels you need to go for testing, etc. I feel welcomed by her staff at all times and would highly recommend her, her P.A. to anyone.
