Outstanding Surgeon and Amazing Person
Dr. bodemer has an excellent, down to earth, patient and knowledgeable personality that put me at ease on making an informed decision on having a back fusion surgerical procedure. Based on my case, he provided all options and explained the pros and cons of each procedure both verbally and with the aid of spinal model examples for a clear understanding. I experienced first hand how he diligently took care of his patients as well as his own staff epitomizing being a team player. I would highly recommend Dr. Bodemer.

Excellent Surgeon!!
Dr. Bodemer did surgery on my spine through the front of my neck to add cages, bone marrow & a screwed-in metal plate. I had done pain management including physical therapy, chiropractic, injections & medicine. None of it took away the pain or pins & needles sensation all up & down my arm. Before I had surgery, I couldn’t even hold anything in my right hand. He is truly a miracle worker as I haven’t had an ounce of pain or any pins & needles since I woke up in recovery! He took the time to explain all my options & what was involved with surgery. It was an easy decision after 18 months of misery. I highly recommend Dr. Bodemer!

I went to Dr. Bodemer with back pain. I had tried injections, as well as some other things. Nothing worked. I had surgery with talked about tomorrow; he did a phenomenal job.

Amazing Doctor/Person!
Dr. Bodemer has done all 3 of my back surgeries and he has made each one of them reassuring and comfortable. He is extremely easy to get along with and makes the best recommendations based on what YOU and him agree on. I have complete trust in Dr. Bodemer! (But secretly, I hope I don't see you again, JK!)

Highly recommend!
I was extremely nervous heading into my initial appointment, but Dr. Bodemer helped me feel calm the moment I met him. He was great at explaining all aspects of my fusion as well as realistic goals and expectations. Throughout the entire process of my fusion (pre surgical appointments, surgery and post-op visits) Dr. Bodemer's entire team has been outstanding to work with.I would highly recommend Dr. Bodemer. I hope that I will not need another fusion, but if I do, he would be the only surgeon I would want working on my spine.

100 % recovery!
7 Years ago I underwent a Lumbar 4/5 fusion that eliminated sciatic pain. But several months ago severe nerve pain returned in my legs and buttocks. I sought help at NeuroSpine in Appleton, WI. Dr Carson Brown assisted in the diagnosis - I had an MRI right there at NeuroSpine and received several spinal injections to pinpoint the cause. Dr William Bodemer scheduled my L3/4 fusion. Surgery complete - the nerve pain was 100% eliminated. Surgery? It's rough at first, then you get better quickly. Andrew and Brad at Orthopedic & Spinal Therapy in Menasha made me stronger. Pamela Verkuilen was my surgical nurse and called me to make sure I was getting better quickly. Everyone helped me get better. But the key turning point is the surgeon's skill. If that's not 100%... you are not going to get 100% better. If the score was up to 10, Dr Bodemer gets a ten out of ten from me. If you have back nerve pain, you should consider Dr William Bodemer at NeuroSpine in Appleton.

Cannot thank Dr Bodemer enough. Had been experiencing alot of pain. He explained what he could do. Liked his honesty. Staff was wonderful especially Pam. Still having very minor discomfort 4 months after surgery, but was told this would get better and it is. Would highly recommend Dr Bodemer. The only thing I would say could be better is more stress on how long healing can really take.

Very pleased
Dr. Bodemer was direct, honest and compassionate about my back condition. He explained why I needed the procedure and how it would potentially help me. He also gave me the necessary time to heal and build back my strength before I returned to work. The pain I had pre-surgery is gone and I am mobile again! I will be forever grateful to him for giving me the ability to walk again without crippling pain.

Care by Dr. Bodemer and staff
I can't say enough about Dr. Bodemer and his outstanding staff. I was in terrible pain, especially to both my legs for almost 7 years. The clinic I had been seeing kept telling me it was knee problems and said there was nothing could be done. At times I could hardly walk. It was my Chiropractor, Dr. Fred Raschke, who finally did an X-ray of my back and found that my disk was totally disintegrated. He suggested the Neuro Spine Center and I am so glad he did! I had a fusion done on my L4, L5 and am now 3 months out. I have little or no pain in my back and no more pain in my legs. Dr. Bodemer and his staff addressed all my concerns and issues and were very caring. For the first time in years, I am not in pain and feel like I have my life back. Thank you Dr. Bodemer and all the staff at the Neuro Spine Center!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Bodemer for any back surgery that you are considering. I had been experiencing lower back problems for over 3 years which radiated pain through my left leg. I went through injections, a PRP injection, physical therapy, and most recently a spinal cord stimulator trial. The only think that helped somewhat was the spinal cord stimulator. I saw Dr. Bodemer to get my permanent stimulator implanted when he showed me my previous MRI's that I had done. He showed me that I had a significant slipped disc between L4 and L5. He told me that I could go ahead with the stimulator but suggested that he thought surgery would be a better option. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure to me. Since I wanted a permanent fix, I elected for surgery. I had an anterior/posterior lumbar fusion. This was the best decision that I had ever made. A few hours after surgery, I was walking with no pain at all. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bodemer!!

Dr Bodemer is a very rare doctor, I can't say enough good things about him. After 20 plus years of spine pain, he recommended that I get a spinal fusion L4-S1. He went over the benefits and possible side effects with me. He also gave me the option of where I wanted to have the surgery done. He gave me my life back! After about 5 weeks, I was pain free and the incision healed up so nicely that I'm actually proud of the scar.

After 2 prior surgeries a spinal fusion was recommended. I opted for a second opinion with Dr. Bodemer at the Neurospine Center. I was very happy with the quick appointments and little wait time upon arrival. Dr. Bodemer explained options and the procedure well and provided me with a path for getting feeling back in my leg and eliminating nerve pain. Scheduling was flawless and staff was great to work with! Dr. Bodemer coordinated with another surgeon during the surgery and made sure to let me know what was going to happen the entire way. He spent time explaining to my family what the expectation was after surgery and truly showed he cared about my successful recovery. Follow up visits were convenient, some over the phone and staff was always available to answer questions. Dr. Bodemer provided me with great care, feeling in my leg and although some back pain will always be part of my life it is way better than what it was and I can live with that! Thank you and I would highly r

I was more than pleased with my SI joint fusion that I had a few months back. I do not hardly any pain, and if so it is when I am over doing it. I strongly recommend him. He is a friendly person and a very good surgeon, with great results. Very satisfied.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Bodemer to anyone needing a spinal surgeon. He's an excellent as well as a super guy. I've had twenty three surgeries for various problems over the years with mixed results. Mostly they were successful, but many times there were little things that made them less than expected. My recent spinal fusion surgery with Dr. Bodemer was excellent and went completely according to plans. In a word, great! To say that he's a confident professional is an understatement.
