Dr. William Bolger, MD

My wife is a patient of Dr. Bolger, and his office is absolutely impossible to reach or get a callback from. There is no direct contact with the doctor through the front desk staff. The front desk staff can only send 'messages' to the doctor, which has resulted in zero contact from the ENT office for over 14 days. Recently, we stopped by in person after an unnecessary procedure was scheduled—one that we fully showed up for, took time off work, and would never have been scheduled if there had been proper communication between Dr. Bolger, his office, and the staff at UF Health. We are still waiting for a simple callback to have some blood work added and to follow up on the unnecessary procedure that was scheduled. On top of all this, Dr. Bolger never introduced himself, never allowed or asked if my wife had any questions, and repeatedly stands outside the door telling his staff that he doesn’t know who is in the room because he doesn’t look at the chart before entering. During my wife’s first appointment, he was literally walking out the door while finishing his last statement, not allowing me to ask the questions we were there for. Dr. Bolger might be a good ENT, but his bedside manner and the obvious issues with scheduling and front desk staff are inexcusable. The lack of communication is absolutely unprofessional and should not be tolerated in healthcare. After showing up in person to attempt to contact Dr. Bolger, we have yet to receive a callback after six days. Please do better because this is unacceptable, and you need to treat your patients with more care and respect.
