Dr,. Kessler was amazing
I was a little nervous about my upcoming bypass surgery until Dr. Kessler explained to me in detail what was going to occur. Immediately I was at ease and actually looking forward to the surgery. It’s been six weeks now and I am doing extremely well. The incisions on my chest and leg are barely noticeable. Going to rehab now and the staff is awesome. I highly recommend, as do many hospital staff members, Dr. Kessler.

Excellent Physician
My relationship with Dr. Kessler began right after Christmas of 2011. He was the on-call physician at the Seton Hospital facility in Kyle. Texas in the ER. A CT-scan of my chest told Dr. Kessler that I had an ascending aortic aneurysm. I asked him what his strategy was, and he told me that they were prepping me and the OR as we spoke. A AAA has about a 10% survival rate. After several hours, Dr. Kessler and his team at Seton-Kyle saved my life. I returned to work after a six month recovery. I was walking, paddling in the pool after 3 months. Now, having survived for 12 years, I thank Dr. Kessler and the Lord every day. Patients with this problem rarely survive after a few years. I am on new ground every year of my survival.

Outstanding Surgeon
My visit to Dr Kessler was not planned but he immediately made me feel at ease about my heart surgery. He was confident, calm and honest about everything. The surgery went very well and my recovery has been very good. I would trust him with the lives of any of my family members at any time. He's the best.

My cardiologist referred me to Dr. Kessler for aortic valve replacement. Surgery was performed in August at St. David's South Hospital. I was released on the fifth day to go home. I was sent home with pain medication. Problem was, I never took any because I never had any pain. It's been six months now and I just completed my cardiologist's follow-up appointment. Echo, outstanding. Everything, outstanding. I cannot be anymore praiseworthy than I am of Dr. Kessler. He is a rock star surgeon. I highly recommend him. My cardiologist told me Kessler was one of the best surgeons and my cardiologist was correct!!!!!
