Dr. William Livingston, MD

I have seen Dr Livingston a few times. He is always very compassionate, listens to my symptoms, and gives good information and feedback. Trying to make appt with him is very frustrating takes forever to get in! I have other health issue which makes seeing him a little more critical, When I ask to see someone else get denied as they say they like to keep with same Dr for continuity of care. I get that but if in pain or discomfort seems not serving needs of your patients. His nurse Amy is very rude, unprofessional, and not empathetic at all! Only giving 3 because of length of time to get appt and unprofessional support staff. Would give 4 otherwise

I visited Dr. Livingston due to a long bout of constipation.

Dr. Livingston is great but a Doctor is only as good as his staff and his nurse or MA not sure what she is but she is the worst. She is not responsive to anything. Takes forever to get her to do anything. She also has a bad personality. I get the impression she doesn’t like her job. She probably should find something else. I think I have finally had enough of Midwest GI and will probably go to UNMC.

The Dr was nice but everything else was not good. From scheduling that was rude to the so called follow up with results. After 25 days of nothing I got a letter in the mail that was two sentences saying to contact Amy L. I have no idea who that is. I called and she called back. She spent the first minutes of the conversation telling me she doesn’t like my cell phone, and I need to have better service etc. she admitted they tried to call 2 times in almost a month. That is not acceptable in my mind. I gave them three numbers. There is no reason they could not reach me! Finally I asked if she could move on to the results. She was very uncaring! She gave the impression she cared less if I was sick or not and she really said in not so many words I wasn’t. Thank goodness my Primary Care Doctor got the results after a couple of weeks and I have a plan of care with him. I do not recommend this clinic you are treated worse than a slab of meat by the staff!
