BAD APPLE
This has to be the worst person I ever met. The biggest liar I ever met. Says one thing and does exactly whatever he wants later. I’ve experienced this three times now for the last three years. It needs to stop.

Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Symons was available to assist in performing a critical and complicated removal of pelvic mass + colon surgery for my condition successfully. Post-op, he made several visits to check-up on my healing process and did not hesitate to answer all my questions afterwards. Dr. Symons and his team of nurses and office staff are professional, compassionate human beings with a wonderful bedside manner. Thank you.

I needed a simple procedure to stitch up my ear piercings that had expanded over time. There was no emergency or massive restoration. It was literally 3 stitches in each ear. How funny was it when I saw that my hospital was billed almost $20K for this! I asked numerous times if I was going to be given full anesthesia - the answer was no. He asked me if I wanted to come to his office for the procedure or Tully. At that point, he should have disclosed that there's a cost differential as I have never had any type of "surgery" before. I'm not an expert at these things, he should be. On the day of the "procedure," I get to Tully and they end up fully sedating me and the procedure was done in an OPERATING ROOM. I can't believe how horribly I was misled by this doctor and his staff. I asked NUMEROUS times on where I should go and if I was going to be fully sedated. There is NO reason that a fully insured person should end up with a $4500 bill for 6 stitches. LIARS-you should be ashamed!!

My first appointment with Dr. Symons was on time and very professional. He was patient with me and explained everything I asked in detail. His office was able to schedule me in quickly and returned my calls promptly. Prior to the surgery he explained fully how it could be done, he was never in a hurry answering my questions and made sure I had no further questions. I never felt rushed, always felt that I had 100 percent of his attention . Dr. Symons is truly an incredible doctor

I found my experience with Dr. Symons, his office staff, and the surgery he performed on me to be exceptionally good. He set clear expectations, met them, and everything ultimately turned out as he said it would. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions openly and thoroughly. Overall, my experience with him and his staff earns them my highest endorsement and should earn them your consideration.

I’m not a “blessings” guy, but I’m acutely aware of my privilege and luck. My experience with Dr. William Symons and his surgical team at Stamford Health has bought the lack of access to health care that many have into even sharper focus. He's among the best that this country has to offer in the surgical expertise for my affliction (a hernia) and I had easy, open, painless access to it. This team was amazing, the facility was amazing and I cannot thank them enough!
