I had to spend a bit of extra time and money on separate therapy to resolve my transference, counter-transference experience with him. Hearing his remarks about his own journey through appearances on podcasts and interviews was helpful in clarifying the complications of my experience. I don’t think he intended harm. The push and pull of his wanting to help then overcompensating for his own fears left me in a bad spot. I don’t normally write reviews but this was a really hard experience for me. And I don’t generally victimize myself. I reached out directly asking how to give feedback about my experience but didn’t get a response. Maybe because I had expressed prior that I didn’t want to be a client, he felt he wasn’t obligated to respond. If you’ve had an emotional entanglement with him, it’s not just you. I wish you well.

At first some aspects of the therapy were good. Trust your gut if you feel that something is off. Beware gaslighting, beware countertransference. Good luck in your healing journey.
